BALLINESIAN PODCAST ON THE POLYTICKIN NETWORK
Welcome to our first episode of AANHPI Month 2026. We're diving right in to figure out why there's such a large discrepancy in Pacific and Asian representation, and how we'd deal with balancing the field. We'll break down the numbers and our experiences. Then we'll get to The Great One and his first time getting dressed for the Met Gala, followed by much discussion on whether his outfit was good, was it Samoan/Pacific enough, and whether he could have worked with a Pacific Islander fashion designer instead. Lots of expectations come with being the most-recognizable Samoan in the world. Thanks for tuning in and leave your messages and comments at [email protected] or on IG and TikTok at @ballinesian.

BALLINESIAN PODCAST ON THE POLYTICKIN NETWORK
Welcome to Samoans talking about the 2026 NFL Draft and our Dream and Nightmare scenarios. We'll discuss the best- and worst-case scenarios for not only some of our incoming Pacific players but also for our Raiders and Chargers. Lots of smoke has been sent out over the last few months, but this week we find out what teams are really thinking when they submit their draft picks. Congrats to all the Ballinesians starting their NFL journeys this week.
Welcome back to another episode of The Polytickin Podcast, you nerds, you know what time it is!
Marcus was entrenched in the LA arts scene for a couple of hours, and it was fun.
Sefa had blood drawn, and an old urban legend from his past almost prevented him from partaking.
Also, who do you think you'd win against in Power Slap?
Enjoy the show!

BALLINESIAN PODCAST ON THE POLYTICKIN NETWORK
Daaanjah! Welcome back to the pod! We are Samoans talking sports, and this week we have a special guest to break down American Samoa's Super Bowl, the Flag Day Fautasi races. Cousin Mathew Lagafuaina joins us to explain how he first joined the Nu'uuli auva'a (before it was "Manulele Tausala"), what the training sessions were like (two-a-days!) and the experience of your village and families sending you off into battle the morning of the race. Both hilarious and insightful, this convo is one you definitely don't want to miss. We'll also talk about betting on the Raiders to win the Super Bowl, and what to say on your downswing in golf ("Down"). We'll then discuss why it's important for us as Pacific Islanders to speak up and ask our names to be pronounced correctly, instead of just rolling along when someone butchers it. It's actually a big deal, and we should treat it as such, instead of hoping not to rock the boat.
Love and Light! Enjoy the show and shoot us a message is you like what you hear, if you have a community event you'd like us to broadcast, or if you have a birthday shout out you want on the next episode. Email us at [email protected] or DM at @ballinesian on Instagram and TikTok.

BALLINESIAN PODCAST ON THE POLYTICKIN NETWORK
Welcome back to Samoans talking sports. We're getting hyped about NASA's latest lunar flyby while also discussing the NBA's trips to Memphis, TN, our "holy grail" cards/comic/activities/shoes, why it's important to pronounce Samoan names properly, and also how our show and discussions are more PTI than Stephen A Smith's First Take. Not a lot of orchestrated confrontation and yelling, instead you can expect thought-out topics, relevant stats and info, along with our very apparent sports-fandom biases lol. Thanks for your time and support! Stay tuned to the end for a future guest tease. Email us at [email protected] or DM us on Instagram or TikTok at Ballinesian.

Marcus got his first taste of the subtle shade towards his content, and his reaction wasn't ideal.
Sefa went to the dentist on a whim, and now he's got top-shelf teeth.
Shout out to Canada's healthcare system.
Enjoy the show!
