The Poor Man Fantasy Football League Podcast

Welcome to Season 3! With 2022 in the rear view and the NFL Off Season in full swing, we don't want to miss a beat so we're continuing where we left off after the Super Bowl; preparing for the 2023 season. And what better way to prepare for a brand new season of football, but to check out this years rookie draft candidates and industry mock drafts!

Just because its the off season doesn't mean there isn't anything to talk about on and off the field. We're going to keep you "Poorly" informed and entertained until the season comes back in the fall. See what I did there? ;)

Do you like reading industry mock drafts?

It's time for our 2022 Yearend Award Show and this year brought us some of the best fantasy match-ups & memories we've ever had. I cannot remember a year in any league where the competition was so tight that you could move from 8th to 3rd in a single week. We hand over MC duties to fellow league mate and creator of the yearend awards to Josh aka @TheMultibeasts. He presents six categories along with his hand picked nominees and we review and vote live on the show. On with the show!

With the 2022 fantasy season ending we also end season 2 of our podcast. We start podcast season 3 along with the 2023 fantasy season next week as we march toward episode 100!

Did you see the Chiefs winning it this year?

We finish our Year in Review series with part four, the AFC & NFC North. Joining us to recount both their seasons and early division predictions are Ryan aka @Slickburn and Gabriel aka @labrebis. Everyone makes it one time with a cold beverage to keep our whistles wet as we catch up on NFL news, Pro Bowl highlights, family vacations, and some QB landing spot gossip.

It's Super Bowl weekend and next week we have special guest Josh aka @TheMultibeasts joining us to review the game and host our "Yearend Award Show!" I cannot think of a better way to wrap up season 2 of our podcast than giving out some sweet, sweet awards. Enjoy the game this week!

We continue with Part Three of our Year in Review series. This week we invited Evan @ Eplow and Marvin @icexmetal to join us to reflect on what was the 2022 fantasy season and review our AFC & NFC South divisional predictions. Sadly Marvin was unable to make it, but recounted his preseason predictions and made no comment of him winning our league championship. None. We really focused on Evan's love for the Eagles, which Mike offered up an apology about, as well as his analytics on everything football. He's really good at it.

We are taking next week as one of us will be on a family vacation. Come back the week after on February 9th when we finish our 4 part mini series with special guests Slick aka @Slickburn and Gabriel aka @labrebis with the AFC & NFC North divisions.

It's Part Deux, or two, of our Year in Review series. This week we invited Juan @one2tree and Josh @TheMultibeasts to join us to reflect on what was the 2022 fantasy season and review our AFC & NFC East divisional predictions. Unfortunately Josh was unable to make so we did our best to recapture of his moments from the season. We also got to dish on Wild Card weekend and some of the amazing games that happened. Now Mike owes Andrew a beer for not believing in the Giants. Who knew?

Come back next week as we continue our 4 part mini series where we breakdown the 2022 season with special guests Evan aka @Eplow and Marvin aka @icexmetal with the AFC & NFC South divisions.

Congrats on another successful fantasy football season!

The season is over and it's time to reflect on what was 2022 and to do that we are going to do a four part mini series where we invite fellow league mates from Poor Man and beyond to talk about the their 2022 fantasy experience. We're also going to review our divisional predictions we made back in the summer. To kick that off we have invited our league commissioner Donny aka donvs05 and his co-manager Corey aka BittnerSteel to share their 2022 highlights, thoughts in the upcoming playoffs & off season, and review the AFC & NFC West divisional predictions.

Come back next week as we continue our 4 part mini series where we breakdown the 2022 season with special guests Juan aka @one2tree and Josh aka TheMultibeasts with the AFC & NFC East divisions.

Congrats on another successful fantasy football season!

It is time for us to Crown our Champion! We have special guest Sean aka Cherven, who was part of that Championship match-up to bring his insiders' perspective on how it all played out. It really takes a back to Damar Hamlin's tragic injury on Monday Night Football. We wish you a speedy recovery.

Come back next week as we start our 4 week series where we breakdown the 2022 season with special guests Commissioner Donny & Corey Bittner.

Our prayers go out to Damar Hamlin and his family.

Championship week is here and there were some upsets getting to this point. It did not play out the way we thought it would with none of the final four breaking 100 points. Each match-up came down to the wire. The Toilet Bowl challengers proved to be the keepers of all the points this weekend, which only added to the bitter sweet loses and missing the playoffs. Grab a beer and let's hang out with our friends in low places.

Come back next week as we invite Cherven and Marvin on to the show to talk about their Championship match-up.

Happy New Year! May the you find success with draft picks and great trade partners in 2023.

The playoff match-ups have been set and our final four are ready for the next round. Everyone else is gearing up for the Toilet Bowl and a chance to win their money back. Join us as we breakdown all four playoff match-ups with suggestions to line up changes, some possible waiver pickups, and some deep hopes & dreams on what we need this week to take home that Championship.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! May Santa bring you some positive fantasy treats this year!
