Week 3 is in the rear-view and with it all the tragedies and upsets it wrought. There were a few bright spots and we talk about those in this week's breakdown. Plus we check the news desk calendar for more historical facts, introduce a new segment called "Shout-Outs," predict our Week 4 match-ups, and settle some bets. It's week 3 and Andrew is hunting for the Trifecta. This is where he wins his league match-up and beats Mike at both the match-up predictions and weekly bet. I wonder what the odds are? Either way, there's lots to discuss this week with what happened over the weekend and Monday night. What a week of football and you can take that positively or negatively. Hopefully your team won and your fantasy roster brought home the "W"

Week 1 is over and here come the tears of both joy and sorrow. Mike lost and Andrew won in more ways than one, but Week 2 is upon us, so there's always hope. We cover last week's match-up predictions, make week 2 predictions, crown our "Poor Man of the Week," test some new audio toys, and resolve some bets. How was your week 2?

It's Week 1 of the NFL season and we've set our fantasy lineups. Now it's time to predict who is going to win their weekly matchups, make some lineup critics, and of course make a our first bet of season! Andrew and I decide on a "Best of the Rookies" head to head. Check out who we picked and hear a little bit extra. 

We're one week away from the start of the NFL season and Fantasy drafts are everywhere. We thought we'd invite our friend and fellow Fantasy enthusiast, Johnny Rocket, to join the show to discuss drafting, league formats, advice, and all things football. We even talk a little non-football and learn about Johnny's own podcast the Why Me Project. Where he talks with people from all walks of life about the highs and lows of life. Oh and he's a Lions fan, so we totally talked Lions at the end. You've been warned, lol.  

We have reached the end of our breakdown of each division and we saved the best for last. The AFC West is a true juggernaut of fantasy strength and we lavished these teams & players with high praise for what could be. But not all opinions were shared, and as much as we all love the players & teams in this division, we differed on our overall team projections yet shared strong similarities to our best fantasy lineups. It's some rich commentary from some Poor Men and we take into overtime to get this one done. 

Head west my son and enjoy some of the best football the NFL has to offer because we're breaking one of the strongest division in football, the NFC West. To help us to do that, we invited our Commissioner and resident Rams fan Donny a.k.a donvs05 to add his insights to what is a fantasy rich environment. Three teams made the playoffs and one struggled to keep up. There's a lot to love, but it does come with some concern and that revolves around the "injury" bug. Let's see who makes our divisional fantasy lineup and is our odds on favourite to win this division. 

Finally we get to talk about my Lions and the rest of the their division and truth be told, there was a lot of love given to the Lions this episode. Our fellow Canadian league-mate Gabriel aka labrebis, joined Andrew and I this week to talk NFC North. This division is rich with fantasy options and some questions. Like, who is going to be the WR1 in Green Bay? And how bad are the Bears really? We answer those, talk about some news, a recent league trade, share our best fantasy line-ups from this division, and predict each teams finish. Do you think the Vikings can beat the Packers out as the top team? Let's discuss. 

Our league champion Marvin aka icexmetal joins us to help breakdown the AFC South. We also get to talk shop on recent football news, contracts, suspensions, the usual NFL topics these days. We avoided injury talk, because it's way too early for that nonsense. There was some fun perspectives on players and I never realized how like minded we all are about this division, its range of outcomes, and fantasy relevant players we'd like to own. Maybe I do have what it takes to win this league...haha, who am I kidding. It was fun catching up with Marvin and we're happy he was able to pull himself away from his studies. The AFC has proven to be very strong and the AFC East is a great example of division with strength and promise. With the powerhouse Bills at peak super bowl contention to the lowly Jets building a solid foundation through the draft, there is much to like from the bottom to the top. To help us break down this division we invited our resident Pats fan Josh aka TheMultibeasts to impart some of his impartial wisdom. We discovered a wealth of fantasy options in the passing game, but found the running game outlook murky. It might take a few weeks into the season before the picture becomes clearer on who we can trust. Until then, grab a cold one and pull up a seat.
