Josh and Aaron Sarnecky are here to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Young Justice, the animated series featuring the superhero team of the same name.
Young Justice originally aired from November 26, 2010 to March 16, 2013 on Cartoon Network. DC Universe picked up the show for a third season, which premiered on January 4, 2019.
Young Justice follows a group of teenage sidekicks as they seek to prove themselves to their mentors. In “Independence Day” and “Fireworks,” which serve as the series’ two-part premiere, Robin, Aqualad, and Kid Flash face off against Cadmus Labs’ clone of Superman, Superboy. The series stars Jesse McCartney as Robin/Nightwing, Nolan North as Superboy, Khary Payton as Aqualad, Jason Spisak as Kid Flash, Danica McKellar as Miss Martian, and Stephanie Lemelin as Artemis. Crispin Freeman also contributes his voice as Speedy.
In addition to garnering critical acclaim and winning an Emmy for character design, Young Justice has fostered a cult following. It was this dedicated fanbase that led to the series’ return after cancellation.
In this podcast, Aaron and Josh talk about the series premiere, as well as the rest of the show. The brothers also discuss the differences between Young Justice and Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans series.
For more cartoons, listen to Josh and Aaron’s podcast on Jackie Chan Adventures.
Young Justice is currently streaming on HBO Max, where the fourth season will premiere in 2021.

Pop Break’s Television Editor Alex Marcus is joined by editor-in-chief Bill Bodkin, and TV Columnist Josh Sarnecky to talk about the happenings in television.
Here’s the format of the show:
The Best Thing I Saw on TV Last Month – Alex, Bill, and Josh talk about a show/episode/event they liked from the last month including Netflix's The Great British Baking Show; Amazon's Truth Seekers; & CBS All Access's Star Trek: Discovery.
News Break – Alex, Bill, and Josh discuss the surprising news of a sharp reduction in ratings for ALL of Live Sports on TV and what factors may be behind this new trend. For more information, check out THR's coverage.
Streaming Wars – Alex, Bill, and Josh pick a streamer they think “won the month” based on new shows airing/upcoming shows announced etc. Bill & Josh decided Disney+ won yet again thanks to the start of The Mandalorian, the recent news about Soul, and their great Halloween offerings. However, Alex chose a fresh entry into the war by selecting IMDbTV after they announced a partnership with Judge Judy.
Series Spotlight – Alex, Bill, and Josh break the rules to review the season two premiere of Disney+ Original The Mandalorian.
This week on Good Bye to All That, The Pop Break’s TV Editor Alex Marcus is joined by Marvel News Desk co-host Adam barnhardt (Comicbook.com) to discuss the first season of Hulu's Helstrom. Together, they consider how well this adaptation of one of Marvel's lesser known antiheroes Daimon Hellstrom and his younger sister Satana fair compared to past Marvel TV offerings.
-Thoughts on Hellstrom comic books
-Relationship with the darker/more serious Marvel TV series like Daredevil & Jessica Jones
-Elizabeth Marvel’s performance
-How well executed the horror elements were
-The love lives of our leads
-Chris's Keeper storyline
-The role of The Bloods and the aborted Marvel Hulu hub of horror series

Amelia drops a little bombshell to Bennett that she “Mostly signed up for this experiment to be on a reality TV show”. Karen is still waiting for the real Miles to show up only after 4-months of living together. Christina still holds out on the hope that she and Henry will turn the curve on their completely non-existent relationship. Woody admits that he’d be sorely hurt if Amani decides to leave him; all while Brett enjoys swiping left to decline women as away of having a sense of power over women.
Welcome with another installment of Pop Break TV's Live, Laugh, & Lovey. In this episode, we check in on our MAFS couples in the Big Easy. Only one episode this week, but we have more to come soon! Don't forget to follow Lovey on Twitter @iamloveytoo and check out the show on YouTube.
While Olivia and Brett are donezo, the other four couples are taking a much-needed break away from the Big Easy for a couple’s retreat; where backpacks and a mound of groceries are required. Woody and Miles sit down to discuss his grievances with his marriage with Karen. Henry is more vocal with calling Christina a liar, and for the first time this whole season, Bennett shows his selfish side.
