Then, because it's the end of the regular season, the squad make their award predictions/picks for all the major WNBA awards (34:05). After that, a special guest joins the crew via Zoom, Erik Grosman, director of Public Relations for the one and only Scarborough Shooting Stars comes in for a talk about the CEBL season, how the league changed this year, and of course, the importance of J. To kick off the show, they each go into why Bill Russell was such an important figure on and off the court, and give a short remembrance to his life and legacy (4:40). Afterwards they talk about the NBA trade bubble and how the offseason has come to a standstill due to the ever-increasing cost of trading (13:42). They then get into the multitude of NBA players taking part in pro-am competition and whether this is a positive initiative going forward (23:19). Big stories all kind of broke at once, so they started the show off digging into the Jaylen Brown and Kevin Durant rumours (3:25) and capped it off by talking about how this trade would potentially shake up the Eastern Conference team tiers. After that, they talk about the potential trade destinations for Donovan Mitchell that were included in a report earlier this week (40:10), with, of course, an emphasis on how he would fit on the Raptors. Later on in the show, they touch on a multitude of topics in the WNBA including the Commissioner's Cup, the potential for shake up in the playoff picture, and the Storm's continued Surge (59:49).

In the rest of the news recap, they dig into the latest comments from Gordan Dragic about Suns owners Robert Sarver (11:55), Russell Westbrook firing his agent Thad Foucher (23:15), and they touch on the new James Harden contract extension (35:15). Afterwards, they talk about Summer League and hand out their early Rookie of the Year prediction (41:54). At the end, they dig into the upcoming WNBA Commissioner's Cup between the top ranked teams in each conference, the Chicago Sky and the Las Vegas Aces (1:02:25).

Kai, Aaron, Diego, and Mike present their first ever episode of the Positionless Pod and it's a doozy. They discuss Donovan Mitchell and the now open trade talks between the Utah Jazz and other teams, presenting trade packages, potential fits, and everything important surrounding the move (5:28). They then dig into some of the new rule changes that have been presented including the in-season tournament and a permanent play-in tournament (29:42). Later on in the show, they discuss Summer League, but take a more focused look on some of the stand-out second year players taking part in the tournament including James Wiseman and Mac McClung (42:15). To end the show, they play a quick game trying to figure out which players from past eras would be superstars in today's NBA after discussing Andre Iguodala's recent comments about Rasheed Wallace (1:11:17).
