Morris, a partner of Schneider Farms-Pasco, joins “The Potato Field” to talk about the impact of COVID on the processing potato industry, interacting with elected officials, why every new potato variety gets compared to the Russet Burbank and more.

As manager of Walther Farms’ mid-Michigan operation, Guthry Laurie has a hand in supplying potato chip makers with plenty of product. Laurie joins The Potato Field podcast to talk about the diverse soil and weather conditions in Michigan — which produces more chip potatoes than any other state — sustainability and taking on an industry leadership role. Laurie was voted by his peers as the outstanding student in the 2020 Potato Industry Leadership Institute.
