The Potscast

Apologies for the late arrival, I only realised it was Saturday at 3am 😳 I thought I had a whole nother day 🤦🏽‍♀️ What can I say? it’s been a week…

So please enjoy a reposted episode from 2018. I think Baby Potter Amanda got it right and it’s always worth a ponder.

Enjoy

Welcome to another video episode, yesterday, my mother and I took an early morning drive to check on my pieces and have breakfast at Sugar Beach.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of Saint Lucia 😁

This is a bit of an emotional one, so especially if you have a dog, I recommend getting tissues now, but ultimately this episode is a story of hope and joy.

This week on The Potscast, I start thinking about Studio safety. To those of you, who have written to me to recommend I wear goggles… well, I’ll let the videos speak for themselves…

Suffice to say, there’s a PSA, a mini rant and a clear case of harassment…

Oh and a competition update.

I decided to let this episode unveil like an episode of Columbo, you find out what happened, then you find out how and then why 🤣🤣

This week, Amanda is unwell, it’s a very minor cold, sniffles, bit of a cough, a few night sweats, but I contend it’s worse when you rarely get sick… but moving on…

As always, please forgive the island sounds and the very noisy Saint Lucian birds and enjoy my nasal musings on everything from stains to pricing and valuing your work.

Is it????

This week, if I had to describe this episode in one word, it would be obsession.

Jess shares her search for fulfilment and tells us how an obsession with pottery saved her sanity in the most tense of times.

From military manouvres via the differences between the western and Asian pottery traditions, all the way to dreams of Sevres, our conversation is wide ranging and totally inspiring.

Enjoy!
