When Puneet first came to the United States over two decades ago, he thought he knew everything about wellness. After all, he was a foreign-certified medical expert and entrepreneur.

Soon, his crazy work hours, terrible diet, and constant stress took a toll on him. He was taken to the hospital for an apparent heart attack. In fact, it was a nervous breakdown.

His doctor wanted to give him more pills. Emphasis on “more” pills, because he was already taking many for every aspect of his health, and they clearly weren’t helping.

He is a firm supporter of Western medicine and always listens to his doctors, and he hopes you do too. But as he laid in his hospital bed, he realized that if he truly wanted to get well, he would have to heal not just his body, but his mind and his spirit.
