  • 25-112 Don’t Settle for a Wasteland

Some of us have grown far too comfortable in the wilderness. Not because God left us there—but because we stopped moving. We’ve adapted to spiritual dryness like it’s normal. It’s not. You weren’t rescued from Egypt just to camp out in a desert of fear, complacency, or defeat.

Think about it: the Israelites were out of Egypt, but they hadn’t stepped into Canaan. Forty years of wandering—not because the promise was far, but because their mindset was. They feared the giants, doubted their strength, and forgot the power of the God who split seas.

Sound familiar? How many of us live saved—but stuck? Forgiven—but fruitless? We’ve been delivered, but we haven’t crossed over. We’ve settled in the wasteland.

And yet, God still speaks: “Arise. Go over this Jordan.” That’s not just history—that’s a call to every believer who’s been circling spiritual dry land too long.

Our springboard for today’s discussion is:“Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them, to the people of Israel.” — Joshua 1:2 (ESV)

God didn’t bring you out to leave you half-finished. The wilderness is not your home. It’s time to stop surviving and start living in the victory Jesus already won for you. Don’t confuse being saved with being victorious.

The Jordan stands between where you are and where God wants to take you. It’s not a barrier—it’s a step of trust.

Question of the Day:What’s the “Jordan” in front of you today—and are you willing to step into God’s promise?

Let’s Pray:Father, we don’t want to wander any longer. Give us the boldness to rise, trust You, and move forward into Your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  • TOV 25-111 The First Step Up – Answering the Call of Manhood

We’re living in a time where the definition of manhood is murky at best and broken at worst. Culture gives us conflicting messages—be strong, but not too strong. Be gentle, but not too gentle. But what does God say? Today, we’re starting with the very first step toward reclaiming true masculinity: answering the call.

Our springboard for today’s discussion is:1 Corinthians 16:13 (ESV): “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.”

This isn’t just a pep talk—it’s a battle cry. Paul didn’t write these words to coddle the church. He wrote them to stir hearts, especially the hearts of men, to wake up and engage. To be watchful means to stop drifting. To stand firm in the faith is to plant your life on something immovable. To act like men? That’s the challenge—to grow up, step up, and take responsibility.

Manhood isn’t about domination—it’s about dedication. It’s not about flexing muscles—it’s about flexing faith. The first step up is a step into responsibility: leading your home, owning your mistakes, protecting the weak, honoring God. God’s definition of manhood starts with courage, clarity, and conviction. Passive masculinity dies here.

Men, if you’re waiting for someone to tell you when it’s time to grow up—it’s now. You were made for more.

Question of the Day:What area of your life is God asking you to stop being passive and start stepping up?

Let’s Pray:Father, awaken our hearts to Your call. Help us reject passivity, embrace responsibility, and pursue manhood Your way. Make us strong in faith, courageous in leadership, and bold in love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  • 25-111 These Days Are Glory Days

Too many believers are wandering in spiritual circles, living like they’re still in the wilderness—even though God’s already given them the Promised Land. It’s like we’re camped out on the edge of breakthrough, yet paralyzed by fear, regret, or the lie that we’re not enough. But today, we’re flipping that script. You weren’t made for the desert. You were made for Canaan.

Our springboard for today’s discussion is:"Not one word of all the good promises that the Lord had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass." — Joshua 21:45 (ESV)

God’s promises are not up for debate. They’re not dependent on your past, your feelings, or your failures. When Joshua led the people into the Promised Land, every single promise of God came true—not some, not most—all. That same faithfulness still holds today.

Here’s the truth: many of us are living like our best days are behind us. But in Christ, your Glory Days aren’t over—they’ve just begun. Egypt was your bondage. The wilderness was your refining. But Canaan is your calling. It’s where peace replaces panic, courage overwhelms fear, and power breaks through weakness.

Ephesians 1:3 tells us we’ve already been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. That means we’re not fighting for victory—we’re fighting from victory.

So why do we keep circling old battles, nursing old wounds, and settling for spiritual survival when God has called us to spiritual thriving? Step in. Claim it. Your Glory Days start now—because the Promised Land isn’t a myth. It’s your inheritance.

Question of the Day:What “wilderness” mindset do you need to let go of in order to step into your Canaan?

Let’s Pray:Lord, I don’t want to wander anymore. I want to walk in the fullness of Your promises. Teach me to live from victory, not for it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  • A Letter from Mary Magdalene: Resurrection Sunday

To all who wonder if the darkness will ever lift,

My name is Mary. From Magdala.

You may know me as the woman from whom Jesus cast out seven demons. That is true. I was once bound, broken, and left in the shadows of society. But Jesus saw me. He spoke my name with compassion, not contempt. He healed me, and I followed Him with everything I had.

I was there. I saw the nails. I heard the final cry. I watched Him breathe His last. I watched them bury Him—quickly, quietly—before the Sabbath began. And then came the silence. A deafening, crushing silence.

We rested on the Sabbath, as the Law required. But our souls were anything but still. We longed to anoint His body properly—to do something, anything, to honor Him.

So early, while it was still dark, I gathered the spices I had prepared and made my way to the tomb with the others. The air was heavy. Our hearts heavier still.

But when we arrived… the stone was rolled away.

    The guards were gone.

    And the tomb—was empty.

My breath caught in my throat. I ran. I ran to find Peter and John. “They’ve taken the Lord out of the tomb!” I cried. “We don’t know where they’ve put Him!”

They ran too. John reached the tomb first, then Peter. They looked inside. Linen strips. The burial cloth, folded separately. Strange. Ordered. But no body.

They left, unsure what to believe. But I remained. I stood outside the tomb, weeping. Grief and confusion swirled in my chest like a storm. I leaned into the tomb once more—and saw two angels in white.

They asked me, “Woman, why are you crying?”

“They have taken my Lord away,” I said, “and I don’t know where they have put Him.”

Then I turned—and saw a man. I thought he was the gardener.

He asked me the same question: “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?”

I pleaded with Him. “Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have put Him, and I will get Him.”

    Then… He said my name.

    “Mary.”

    And everything changed.

I knew that voice. The voice that called me out of darkness. The voice that calmed storms and cast out demons. The voice that spoke life and truth and love like no one else ever could.

“Rabboni!” I cried, falling at His feet. Teacher.

He was alive. He was alive.

He told me not to cling to Him, for He had not yet ascended to the Father. But He gave me a mission: “Go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

I ran again—but this time with fire in my bones.

“I have seen the Lord!” I told them.

And I will never stop saying it.

I saw Him. Alive. Glorified. Triumphant. Death could not hold Him. The tomb could not keep Him. The cross was not the end—it was the beginning.

Later, I heard of the others. How He walked beside two of His disciples on the road to Emmaus, opening the Scriptures to them. How He appeared in a locked room to the apostles, breathing peace into their fear. How even Thomas, who doubted, fell to his knees and confessed, “My Lord and my God.”

This is not a story we made up. This is not a myth to ease our grief. This is truth. A truth that walked, talked, touched, and ate in our presence. A truth that reigns forever.

Because He lives, everything has changed.

    The fear I once knew—gone.

    The shame I once carried—gone.

The power of sin and death—broken.

So now I live to tell the world:He is risen. He is risen indeed.

And because He rose, so shall we.

With all the joy of one who saw the empty tomb,Mary Magdalene

Closing Thought:Resurrection Day is not just the day the stone was rolled away—it is the day everything shifted. Grief turned to joy. Doubt turned to faith. Death turned to life. The Risen Christ changes everything—for those who believe and for those still searching. The question remains: Have you seen the Lord?

  • TOV 25-110 A Love Letter from God: I’m Calling You Higher

Ephesians 4:14-15 – "Then we will no longer be infants... Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ."

    "My son,

I see you. I see your desire to please Me, your hunger to grow, and your frustration when you stumble. But I want you to hear this clearly—I'm not asking you for perfection. I’m calling you higher.

Maturity in Me isn’t about never falling. It’s about standing up, listening to My voice, and walking forward again with your eyes fixed on Jesus. You are not a child tossed back and forth by the waves of this world. You are My son—strong, steady, and filled with My Spirit.

There will be times when truth feels uncomfortable. That’s okay. I speak it in love. I correct not to shame, but to sharpen. I discipline because I delight in you. Growth isn’t instant, but it is inevitable for those who stay rooted in Me. You’re not who you were—and you’re not yet who you will become—but I’m shaping you every day into the image of My Son.

Let Me remind you: the measure of your maturity isn’t in how loud your faith sounds, but in how deeply it’s lived. Speak truth, but speak it in love. Build others up. Lead with humility. Forgive quickly. Stay grounded in My Word. These are the marks of a grown man of God.

And when you feel weak? That’s when I do My best work in you. Lean into Me, and I’ll carry you. Let Me stretch you, refine you, grow you—not just for your sake, but for those I’ve called you to lead.

Son, you are not stuck. You are being strengthened. You are not failing. You are following. You are not alone. I’m walking this journey with you—every step forward, every tear, every victory.

I’m proud of you. Keep going.

    With all My love,Your Father

  • 25-110 A Love Letter from God: Love Never Fails

Scripture: "Love never fails." —1 Corinthians 13:8

    My beloved child,

Let Me remind you of something eternal: My love never fails. It never gives up, never walks away, and never forgets you—not even for a moment.

People may disappoint you. Emotions may waver. Life may twist and turn in ways you never expected. But My love remains constant. It has no expiration date, no conditions, no small print. It is stronger than your doubts, deeper than your pain, and higher than anything you could imagine.

When you feel weary, when the world feels cold, remember—My love is still holding you. Even when you fall, I do not walk away. I don’t love you less on your worst day or more on your best. My love is anchored in who I AM, not what you do.

This is the love I’ve placed within you too. A love that forgives. A love that believes. A love that hopes. A love that endures. The world may call it weak, but I call it power. Real power. Unshakable, unstoppable, unending love.

So don’t give up—on yourself, on others, or on what I’ve promised. Keep loving. Even when it’s hard. Even when it hurts. Because every act of love reflects Me, and nothing done in love is ever wasted.

You are Mine. And My love in you will never, ever fail.

    Forever faithful,Your Father

To those who wait in silence between the suffering and the sunrise,

I am Joseph. A man of Arimathea. A member of the Council, the Sanhedrin. A man once known for influence, status, and guarded faith. I was silent for too long. I watched and listened, torn between my respect for Jesus and my fear of what it might cost me to follow Him openly.

But everything changed on the darkest day of all.
