The Power of Me Today (formerly Inspire and Tire)

Throughout this journey with my podcast I continue to hear from others of struggles in their lives that have kept them up at night or have lessened their positive outlook on themselves or their future and I have always tried to address it with words of comfort.

Today I want to talk about a struggle that many of you, as well as those close to me, are battling and that is the anticipated fading of a breath in a cold dark winter night.

The knowledge that you will be void of a loved one’s touch until the day you both can meet again is but one of the forces facing you at this critical juncture. You find yourself counting the moments and you have the sensation of overwhelming confusion and hopelessness and fear – are you doing enough for the one you love – saying enough - praying enough loving enough and being strong enough.  I do hope this episode helps.

I often ask myself why we have various worthwhile causes celebrated for a whole month and yet Mother’s Day is but one day on the calendar. Are we all not born of woman. Is the first act of love that we know on this Earth not the conscious decision of our Mother’s to bring us forward into this world so we can breathe and growth and be happy and loving. Is the thought of Motherhood not all encompassing for this universe and yet as finite as our own hearts. Is Mother’s Day not worthy of a month celebration as well?
