In this episode, I’ll be sharing my experience with mental practice in stroke recovery, along with some simple tips on how these exercises can support stroke survivors.

One of the biggest benefits of mental practice is its simplicity. It’s something you can do anywhere and anytime.

Research has shown that mental training can be an effective complement to real-world practice for stroke survivors looking to improve their post-stroke abilities.

Although mental practice is not going to provide dramatic overnight improvements in recovery after stroke, I’ve greatly enjoyed adding visualization practices into my post-stroke rehab work.
