As followers of Christ, we should embrace trials and tribulations as part of our walk with the Lord and share our testimonies so others can see how He works. James 1 affirms this by saying to have joy during trials because the testing of our faith produces patience. Revelations 12:11 also confirms that the defeat of the enemy is done by the believers’ faith in Jesus, the believers’ willingness to sacrifice their lives for Jesus, and the power of their testimony. Our special guest, Dr. Hormoz Shariat, echoed this as he spoke about how many in Iran chose to live for Jesus. Dr. Shariat is the Founder and President of Iran Alive Ministries (IAM), a satellite broadcasting and internet platform that reaches Iranians with the gospel.
