This episode we go through a bunch of random hot topics that we have felt the need to document over the last few weeks. Who chooses the layout of a grocery store? Suzie has the two hardest items Why and how does hair grow? People use karo syrup on their what!? Raise your hand if you call it a commode! This episode is a goose chase from start to finish.

They're gonna put it in the Smithsonian as "Actual Appalachian Historical Facts."  Sarah goes to correction corner about the Randy Jackson misinformation she has been spreading. Did we all hear the rumor about Paul from the Wonder Years? Warning: something scares us half to death! Killing a spotted lanternfly: not as easy as once might think! When we finally finish our prayer requests, we get into the meaty details of our favorite eateries as children. The Pancake House, Ponderosa, K&W Cafeteria...ahhh the memories. 

Suzie roasts an elephant garlic and lives to tell about it! Sarah has an oozy prayer request. Kati's muscles are too big for shots. After our prayer requests, Suzie dives into the most interesting details about the Flatwoods Monster aka Braxie.  The story of a UFO sighting in Braxton County, WV that left a small town with unanswered questions and the government trying to silence a single mother. This episode would make a great graphic novel!! Listen and marvel!

This episode revolves around our favorite Appalachian past time: Porch Sittin'. Suzie uses this method to spy on her neighbors.  What are the staples of porch decor? Do you light a candle? Hang up some lights? We reminisce on some of our most vivid memories that revolve around a porch swing. Eating a werther's original on a porch swing is dangerous, find out why we know! Did you guys's family make you all strang beans?

CHRISTMAS IN JULY! Kati darn near sheds a tear talking about God's country. Suzie found a little mysterious treasure at work. Sarah reveals where she wants her final resting place to be, hint: its Florida. We receive our first fan mail!!!!  With an especially sharp knife we take a stab at what it might be and open it on air. You won't believe whats actually in the box!!

They're tearing down the skating rink! Sarah's irritability has got us all riled up. Suzie has a new smart watch that is monitoring her stress levels and you won't believe what the highest spike of her day was from! We talk about skating parties and our favorite songs to skate to. Kati ate glowsticks and that might be what's wrong with her. The nerds ropes at The Ansted Roller Rink are the #1 nerds ropes in the world. 

Sarah calls the fire department to tell 'em a thing or 2 about a thing or 2. In honor of summer solstice we talk about gardening tips! We talk about the best way to creep rabbits out of the garden and how to potentially ward off bears. Perhaps you mark your territory yourself or does your mawmaw hang up aluminum pie pans? Don't get us started on barbed wire...

There is a suspicious smell at Summersville Lake and Kati is not having it! Suzie has a fear of going to the bathroom on a road trip. Sarah graduated from citizen's police academy. Speaking of graduating we did it once and we talked about it today! Project graduation, senior skip day, and class rings (embarrassing). Did anyone graduate "cum laude"? Suzie's senior pictures were in someone's weird house.
