Not all PA school interviews are the same, and walking in without knowing which format you're getting is a mistake you can easily avoid.
In this webinar I break down the three you'll run into. Traditional interviews are a conversation, usually one-on-one or with a small panel. Behavioral interviews want specific stories from your past. And then there's the MMI, which everybody dreads - a series of short timed stations, often with scenarios that have nothing to do with medicine.
The MMI isn't as scary as its reputation. It's testing whether you can think on your feet and explain your reasoning. You don't have to have the right answer. You have to have a reason for your answer.
Across all three formats, the same thing wins: knowing your own experiences well enough to pull the right one out on demand, and practicing out loud before the day of.
What I cover:
- Traditional interviews and what panels are listening for
- Behavioral questions and how to structure your stories
- What actually happens at an MMI station
- Why there's often no right answer, just better reasoning
- Using mock interviews to find your weak spots
- Being able to explain why PA, clearly and quickly
