In this episode, we listen in on an "anti-racist" rant from a guy on TikTok and we examine whether discrimination explains all disparities.

In this episode, I discuss what happened with GameStop and the reaction of the ruling class. I also discuss an article published in Tablet Mag about this disturbing trend of journalists against Free Speech. Finally, we get into who the neo-racists are. 

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died setting off more fireworks in an already explosive and intense political environment. Of course, Justice Ginsburg’s death opens up a vacancy on the Supreme Court with only six weeks left to go before the 2020 presidential election. This has sparked predictable controversy regarding the nomination and confirmation of her successor. And people are losing their minds.

While it is a stretch to say Biden has DONE anything at all when he is, in fact, being held together by his puppet masters who are pulling the strings and whispering into his ear piece, it is now official. After much speculation, Joe Biden has picked Kamala Harris as his running mate.

Kamala being tapped as Biden’s VP pick shows that the Democrats have no principles whatsoever. The party claims to stand for progressivism, for racial justice, for the poor, for the oppressed, for victims of an unjust criminal legal system. Rather than pick literally anyone else who has demonstrated a commitment to those causes, they have picked as their vice presidential candidate a woman who has spent her entire political career doing everything in her power to fight against those causes. At this point the democrats cannot pretend to fight for the causes they claim to care about. Rather than demonstrate a commitment to any cause, to any kind of moral calling, the democrats seem to care only about identity politics and exploiting it to defeat Donald Trump.

Kamala was chosen simply because she is an African American, or at least identifies as one. Her father is from Jamaica and her mother is from India and I guess that’s good enough for the identitarian left. Putting this all aside, if any of the BLM narrative is valid then Biden’s pick of Harris as his VP is the biggest repudiation of black lives mattering. Why? Because Harris has spent her entire career putting blacks in jail.

I discuss MLK and the Civil Rights leaders' incredible commitment to non-violence and how, all too often, we are now seeing people excuse the rioting and looting we've seen in the wake of George Floyd's death. MLK and other leaders taught people that non-violence is both practical and moral. People who excuse violence in response to police brutality and engaging in a sort of "soft bigotry of low expectations" and we should call it out. Some quick thoughts I had about the risk facing the new "free speech platform" Parler and my concerns about its future.

In a conversation with Joe Rogan, Bret addressed the #ShutDownSTEM phenomenon in which more than 5,000 scientists went on strike to protest systemic racism in STEM. Two prominent scientific journals also shut down operations and pledged to use the day to address racial inequalities in science.

Chelsea Handler has thrown her name into the ring and joined the ranks of other white liberal celebrities who have taken up the cause of Black Lives Matter and related movements and begun lecturing us on wokeness and tolerance. In the course of doing this, Chelsea posted a video of Louis Farrakhan on instagram, a video which she says was powerful and that she learned a lot from.
