God sure is patient, isn't He? Does it make you wonder sometimes why God doesn't just give up on us? Well, this is why He is God and we are not. He is not only omniscient, omnipresent, gracious and loving but He is also very patient. He fulfills His plan in His time.

Thank you all for being faithful in these lessons. I trust that in the long run, the Lord will use them to encourage others. Keep pressing on for His name's sake.

Throughout history there have been significant events that have taken place.  This is one of them.  Abraham is being asked to do something that had never been asked by God before.  Is he up to the challenge?  Is his faith in God able to overcome his fear of the consequences?  Let's see what happened.

God continues to amaze us. He not only makes promises but He fulfills them, always. In this lesson we will see that what God says, He does. This is quite refreshing in the light of the world's ability to keep its promises. Thank you so much for reading these lessons and I trust that they will be a blessing to you and to others.

Today's lessons should be a sobering reminder that God will not be mocked and that He always does what He says He will do.  While He is just toward those who will not listen to Him, He is also just toward those who agree with Him.

This lesson finishes up the first half of the Old Testament, chronologically speaking. As you can see, God has not forgotten His promise to Adam and Eve, even though a little over 2,000 years have passed. It is good to be able to see a faithful God in action. Consider this as you remember what God has revealed so far.

Thomas Sowell once said that when a situation arises that demands a choice, there are no solutions, only trade-offs.  What I believe he meant was that with each decision there is a consequence.  No matter what choices we have to make, there will always be a consequence attached to that decision.  In today's lesson, choices are going to be made that will have profound consequences.  Let us learn from these choices and use them to help guide us in our understanding of God and ourselves.

We have come a long way in the history of God's Redemptive plan.  Almost 2,100 years have passed since God created Adam and Eve.  If you or I had been alive at this time I am sure that we would have wondered what was taking God so long to send the Deliverer. 

God is not rushed by anyone.  He takes His time and does everything according to His perfect plan.  Let's see what the next step in this plan is.

It seems that no matter what God does or how much He desires to be a blessing to mankind, people just seem to reject the One who created them.  God brought judgment on Adam, Cain and the people in the time of Noah.  Would they now learn their lesson and believe that He means what He says?  Let's see how man listens to his Creator after the Flood.

Will God deliver Noah and his family from the judgment that He brought onto the world?  If they were floating in the ocean, how were they going to going to survive once the food ran out and how could they know that God was going to keep His word and keep the line of the Deliverer going?  Let's see.

Satan thought he was going to win in Heaven, but he failed.  Satan thought he was going to defeat God in the Garden of Eden, but he failed.  Satan thought he was going to win outside the Garden with Cain & Abel, but he failed.  How about this time?  Will he finally put a stop to God's plan to send a Deliverer to defeat Satan?  Will he thwart God's plan to redeem mankind?  Let's see what happens.
