God provided the first man with the first woman and then instituted the first marriage.  He knew what was best for the man who was alone but also for the woman who would be his companion.  The perfect man, woman and marriage were in order and it fits the old adage; they were made for each other.

God is almost finished with His work of creating and has one thing left to do but He gives some specific instructions to the man before completing His final work.

God finishes His work and and then fills in details on His creation of the man and the place God prepared for him to live and work in.

God has a purpose for everything He does.  All of His creation had a goal, an ultimate objective for why it was created.  Today's lesson begins the explanation for why!

All animal life has its origins in God and like everything else He created, it is a reflection of His nature and character.  We can learn so much from looking at what He created, but each in its own time.  Let's see what we can glean from Day 5 & 6 of Creation.

Every day that God creates, He reveals more of His nature and character.  God expands our understanding of who He is each time He acts and Day 4 of creation is no different.  All of this is building to a wonderful, creative completion.  Keep enjoying and considering what He wants us to know and understand.

On Day 3 of Creation, God begins to reveal a new characteristic of Himself that must have brought some light and understanding to the spirits who were watching.  It wasn't everything He wanted them to see but enough to see that there was a plan in place even if they did not see the whole scope of the plan.  Let's keep exploring God's revelation of everything.

God starts His creative acts.  Knowing what you know already, what kind of person is capable of doing this?  What kind of knowledge would someone have to have to create anything?  Let's see what we can learn about God from watching Him create light and air.

If God creates everything perfect, what about the spirit world?  Are they all perfect or are some of them evil and if so, why?  Let's explore what happened in the past and consider the relationship between the spirit world and God.

The creation of the spirit world is not just stories about a world that we cannot see.  It is the beginning of God revealing His nature and character in a way that is relational.  It also lets us peek into an arena where He displays Himself through His actions and not just His being.
