The Pro Fan League Podcast - Sports Talk From A Biblical Worldview

Today on the show Gibbs talks with Team Lancaster Thunder about how cultures are set and how progress is made, one person and one moment at a time. John Dunlop the innovator of the sneaker, King Alfred King of England, and Julio Jones of Alabama all teach us valuable lessons about how culture is established and about how one person can make a real difference in a situation. We can be tempted to despair but take heart the contributions you are making for God's glory and to build society matter and you never know what your efforts might be scheduled to produce in the hands and will of a sovereign God. Today on the show Gibbs considers the question "What is the good life?" Jesus says He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6)! Jesus says He gives life in abundance (John 10:10). When we turn on college football, the NFL, any sporting event for that matter we are given all manner of definitions of what the "Good Life" entails. Jesus comes into the world and says that He is "The Life"! We consider how God recalibrates human hearts and minds to see in new ways as we consider what truly defines "The Good Life!" Go Make Plays!
