We continue with The Color of Money and are reminded of the importance of this shows core goal. The history of banking is rife with conflict in the black community. As we support each other we have to be aware of history, and prepared for the future.

The guys also discuss at length learning about and strategy around YouTube. It's not a platform they know a lot about, but they're both excited to meet their customers where they're at.

Join us as we begin to The Color of Money. The history that this book sheds light on is important and untold. We learn about the tricks and scams that have plagued black banking and consider what that means for the shows goals. So far, this is story provides vital context for us as people, and entrepreneurs.

Reflecting on 2020, how it feels to have become a podcaster

Vernon was able to join last weeks Jerami Grant pick of the month at his annual event helping the homeless and housing insecure in the Philadelphia area. He gives an update on how that went. Our Jerami Grant pick of the month, Michael Cunningham

It's our first time having a special guest on our show and it's Philadelphia's own Michael Cunningham. Michael is a husband, father, founder and entrepreneur making a difference in the lives of at risk folks in our community. He and his team have grown Kingdom Keepers, a non profit that gets shoes and food into the hands of folks facing housing insecurity. His Super Bowl is coming up where Kingdom Keepers is expected to impact the lives of over 300 people in the Philadelphia community.

That's not all Michael has done in his process so far. He's moved from the gig economy to creating his on business. Join us this week as he reflects on his story and tells us about how his process of going from wantrepreneur to entrepreneur evolved. Vernon and I are so happy to have had the opportunity to listen to his story and learn from his experience

The guys discuss what you need from a theme when you get going, and why fundamentals are the most important thing as you put a site together.

Vernon's wife. They discuss optionality, the ability to plan to
