[00:00:15] What is up everybody. This is my very first episode of the white walker beats podcast wholly new to this if you’ll hate me or hate me but you know what. Fuck you. That’s all I got to say about that. So we’re gonna jump right into this might be a little choppy might be a little iffy here and there. But you know what. We’re just gonna go with we don’t see what happens. And you know what. Hopefully it works. What I want to talk about in the very first episode of the white walker beats podcast is some of the most frequently asked questions the music producers ask. They want the answers to all right. So what skills do you need to have to become a music producer. This is probably the most important question you should ask yourself before ever even starting to think about jumping into the music producing career because it is not easy right. So listen answer that question.
[00:01:08] What skills do you need to have. Gotta have patience.
[00:01:13] Oh my gosh you gotta have patience patience is. That’s probably the most important one is patience. This is definitely one of the most if not the most important skill that you have to have as a music producer. And let me tell you why I cannot tell you how many hours and hours and hours that I spend just sitting in front of my computer on one song or one beat. Just think about that how many beats that people really really be produced and how many songs people really be producing out here and think about all the hours that it really takes. I think I think music producers are one of the most underappreciated in this in music career business just because we have to have all the creativity we have to be able to pinpoint and I mean you can you can hire somebody like an engineer to mix a master but I mean honestly if you’re an all in one package that’s probably the best case scenario. So listen patients is so important because if you really decide to go down the path of being a music producer you’re gonna have to be able to sit at your computer for hours and hours on end because it takes so much work. It takes so much critiquing it takes so much like time here and there. One song I was personally one my favorites. I have not released yet is called it’s called like the goat I’ve put where I’ve put.
[00:02:42] It’s taken us months we’ve we originally had the like the first two versus done like a couple of months ago I spent almost three weeks in that how exactly how I wanted to sound like the bass and the way the vocals fit on the beat and on the track.
