Following the viral post on LinkedIn, I took time to explore modern day work dilemma: Should employeestolerate toxic bosses? ("Team Toxicity"). Or shoud they stay in the work environment for the sake of a higher salary? ("Team Pay Cheque").

In this episode, I provide clear insight by defining what the gig economy is made up of, ie freelance work and flexible work schedules(All from my perspective). I highlight the pros it has on the young adults of Uganda as well as the usual mental health challenges that are faced by those involved in it. Also, I offer the steps to be taken in order to cope with the mental health challenges that come with it, despite it being embraced as a new form of work today.

This week on the podcast, I forward a question to us which is : Is self counselling really worth it in our careers ?. Without realizing, we do talk to ourselves when dealing with certain situations in our careers ranging from decisions, accountability, goals set and those that have been achieved as well as career transitions. Well, this episode opens our eyes to this question giving incites on advantages and pitfalls of self counselling.
