Commissioner Jordan Johnson is a dedicated public servant who is passionate about growing and improving the City of Augusta. Born and raised in Augusta, Johnson’s commitment to his community was evident from a young age. At just 26 years old, he achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the youngest elected official in Augusta's history, securing a seat on the Augusta Commission in 2020. Johnson was named the 2023 Public Servant of the Year by Perry Broadcasting of Augusta. Johnson's commitment to public service extends beyond his role as an elected official. He is a devoted member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and has taken on pivotal roles within various organizations. He serves as the Chairman of the Richmond County Democratic Party, showcasing his leadership and dedication to advancing his party's ideals.
