  • 16. 12 Tips To Practice Self Care in 2019

In today's episode I share with you 12 tips to keep your sanity through self care in 2019.  These are all tips that I have used or currently use to energize, focus and propel my business and my life.  I have to forewarn you there is quite a bit of what some would label as woo woo in this episode.  But, these are just suggestions to feed you when you are feeling depleted and as if you can't move forward becasue you are stuck in the muck.  Take what suits you, try some that are new if you want to, but most importantly - take care of you.

You will find there is quite a resource list for this episode below.  Most of the resources I list are free, but some likely have a small fee associated with them.  I hope you find them useful and beneficial.

Also, in this episode I announce the creation of the Feed U Community.  This is a free community I am building on Facebook where we can take the conversations, discussion, questions and more from here to a community environment.  I'd love for you to join us.  You can find the community here.  This is a private Facebook community, but anyone can join.  Just request access and answer the 3 easy questions and you will be added to the group.  I look forward to seeing you inside! :D

P.S.  I don't get an affiliate promos from these tools, I just really like them and hope they help you as well.

  • 12. What You Need To Know About GDPR, Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policies As An Entrepreneur With Attorney Aiden Durham

This week's episode covers legal ease in a down to earth manner.  My guest Aiden Durham talks about the intricacies of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) Compliance and why it matters even if you don't have customers in the European Union.  GDPR is a requirement (currently active in the European Union, but also some other states in the US-think California and Vermont.  Data Protection is big business (think Facebook data breach last year) and several other states are already taking additional action on protecting consumer data.  I've linked to the state laws passed in 2018.

Aiden covers the essentials for your website and your business to ensure that you are compliant, including Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and SSL for your website.  Fun fact, did you know that if you don't meet Google's security requirements with an SSL your website is ranking lower.  Google also isn't messing around with security measures.  Tune into this week's episode to get up to speed and ahead of the curve when it comes to online security for your business.
