TRILOGISTS TIME! Sony’s gotta milk that Spider-Man IP and Venom did pretty good so they decided to try out some other Spidey villains and side characters and the internet grabbed onto these three movies in the most ironic way possible. We lump these in as a trilogy we’re calling “SONY’S STRANGE MARVELS” as these are the notorious triple failures of Sony’s attempt at stretching the franchise out. We’re talkin’ MORBIUS, MADAME WEB & KRAVEN THE HUNTER! Sure, they’ll probably try again down the road but when they do they’re gonna hope we don't remember these three flicks but we WILL remember! We’ll always remember.

We’re getting into the first of this year’s noir sub-theme we’re calling “Lives of Crime” which is something of a sequel to our first noir month “The Left Hand Endeavor” (check that playlist on YouTube for more noir talk). Movies about crime are amongst our favorite and we want to kick it off with a guy who made movies that a lot of later crime movies imitated. We’re talking the classic Hollywood star James Cagney and we got 5 classic noirs starring The Man to discuss. Bootlegging and Bullets all over these selections that also feature Humphrey Bogart just before he became a leading Hollywood man himself. The 1930s sure were nostalgic for ten years prior.
