Episode 14 - Tracy and Emma Fuller | Property Investing as a Family Business
Emma was only 18 years old when she began learning about property investment strategies with her mum, Tracy. Choosing a property business over going to University, Emma is part owner of HMOs, and has established a property cleaning company as well.
Tracy's first property investments were made a number of years ago and without any real knowledge or understanding of the sector. Although not disastrous, those investments used up all of the available investment capital and so the investing stopped at that point. A few years later, Tracy discovered new strategies and a more business-like approach to property, which she and Emma grasped with both hands.

Episode 13 - Salik and Karishma | On Following Your Heart and The Importance of Family
University sweethearts Salik and Karishma shared a passion for doing their own thing - following their own individual path, despite the cultural expectations that are sometimes put upon younger British Asian couples. Their journey has not been easy but has been helped by having very loving and supportive families.
Property investment ambitions started at an early age for both, and when the opportunity came to learn about the business of investing, they were wholeheartedly committed. This meant moving out of London and away from their families to be closer to more favourable investment areas where they could be closer to the action and learn their business better. The outcome of their dedication and commitment is the ability to live life on their own terms and to spend quality time with the most important people of all - family.

Episode 12 - Janice Miniham | The Reluctant Entrepreneur
From teacher to student, and back again. Janice was born and raised in the Brisbane area - East coast of Australia and watched her father renovate and sell properties. Once qualified as a primary school teacher, Janice did try her hand at property in Australia, but as she explains, the market and property investing philosophy down under is very different from the UK.
Having married a Lancashire lad, Janice brought her young family to live in Burnley which is where her true property education began. She started buying buy-to-lets and then small HMOs, which became her specialty as an investor and a letting agent. Janice now plans to take her extensive knowledge and experience back home to Australia and start a HMO portfolio back in the sun.

Episode 011 - Jordanne Whiley MBE | From Halesowen to Buckingham Palace
Jordanne first had a tennis racket placed in her hand at the age of three and has never looked back. She excelled through the ranks to win junior and senior titles. Jordanne was born with brittle bone disease which means she plays her tennis in a wheelchair - which I still find remarkable that anyone can do that.
Having a disability made school life tricky for Jordanne, who endured bullying and isolation because she was "different". But Jordanne's father Keith (also born with brittle bone disease) was a paralympic medalist and encouraged her to pursue her beloved tennis. Jordanne's mother gave up work to care for Jordanne and has been her biggest supporter, making many sacrifices to ensure Jordanne made every tennis tournament.
Jordanne and her family have been rewarded with enormous success. She is Britain's most successful tennis player EVER and Tokyo in 2021 will be Jordanne's 4th Paralympic tournament, with 2 paralympic bronze medals in the trophy cabinet already. In Tokyo, Jordanne will be aiming for a gold medal - the only honor to elude her. Jordanne was awarded an MBE for services to wheelchair tennis in 2015.
Outside of tennis, Jordanne is a financial services professional, a property investor, and mother to a young son. After tennis, property is her big passion and Jordanne looks forward with excitement to becoming full-time in property in the future.

Episode 009 - Kim Stones | The Tao of Kim (A Martial Arts Master's Philosophies on Life and Property)
7 time British Tae-Kwondo champion and one-time world titleholder, Kim represented the British team from the age of 16. In his 20's he was instrumental in revolutionising the way this martial art was taught around the country and has helped hundreds if not thousands of youngsters to become more confident, positive adults.
Reading 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' sowed the seeds for property investing, though by his own admission, investing was much easier for Kim in the early 2000's. He built a large portfolio quickly but the financial crash of 2007/08 forced some radical changes and the need to learn more in order to diversify and survive.
Kimcoh Properties is his family-run business and well-established lettings and management agency in Doncaster. At the age of 60, Kim is still hungry for new ventures and remains a well-known figure in the realms of British Tae-Kwondo.

Episode 008 - Kristina Castellina | Snow White And The Eight Holiday Flats
Kristina, her husband Alex, and their two young children live on the Fylde Coast in the North West of England. Having followed her passion for performing, Kristina spent several years as a young adult travelling the world, enjoying hectic schedules as a singer, dancer, model and actress.
The book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" intrigued Kristina enough to look into taking up professional property investment training and as she admits - "I'm either all in or all out. So with property, I was all in from the start". In the beginning, property investments were for fun and excitement (and money), but when Kristina was expecting their first child, her focus on property changed and the results are there to be seen. Able to enjoy time and experiences with her family is the most rewarding aspect of her success in property, though singing is still very much part of who she is.

Episode 007 - Kieran Toner | Living Life On Your Own Terms
Having a passive income that covers your everyday expenses frees up your time. Instead of trading time for money, we can put our money to work for us, and it's the investment capital that goes out to work instead of us.
Kieran Toner has been investing in property for over 10 years. He also has other passive income businesses. He chose this route rather than a traditional career because he wanted to live life on his own terms. An avid participant in outdoor (semi-extreme) sports, Kieran spent several years traveling from ski resort to surfing resort around the world - not because it paid well, but because that was what he loved to do.
Now Kieran and Dawn continue investing in order to enjoy a lifestyle of living each day on their own terms.
Kieran recommends 3 books that got him started and kept him going:
The 4 Hour Work Week (Tim Ferriss)
Rich Dad, Poor Dad (Robert Kiyosaki)
The Slight Edge (Jeff Olson)

Episode 006 - Ben Eastwood | We Are All Creatures Of Burden
Ben, his wife Rebecca, and twin girls live in South Cave, East Yorkshire.
They have a high cash-flowing portfolio of buy to lets, HMOs, and Serviced Accommodation built in less than 3 years. Sounds pretty simple, but they struggled so much to get things off the ground in the beginning, that Ben was all for giving up on the idea of investing in property altogether.
Thankfully, his character wouldn't let him quit. They dug deep, persevered, and have reaped the rewards.
There are many lessons learned in struggle. Far more than when everything goes to plan. Ben talks openly about his childhood and his competitive nature which has seen him through tougher times. I guess resilience is built through being a Leeds United supporter.

Vinit Patel knows how to pursue his dreams. As a life-long fan of Formula 1, he studied Mechanical Engineering at Brunel University, London, and Motorsport Engineering & Management at Cranfield University. This led to his involvement with the Williams and Red Bull teams.
With the emergence of the electric car revolution, Vinit saw the opportunity to move into Formula E, the world motor racing series for 100% electric racing cars. Now Head of Talent at Mahindra Racing, he also holds the position of Technical Director for Scooter Racing Series, a brand new racing sport launching this year.
Property investing started for Vinit in 2015, but living in London he saw the higher returns available in the North of England and decided that was the place to build an investment portfolio.
