Welcome to another episode of The Property Experience UK podcast, where I talk to property investors from around the country about their experiences in property and in life.

In this episode, my conversation is with Emma Kirby from West Yorkshire. In many ways, Emma has had a privileged life. Owning horses, travel adventures, and good career opportunities. It was in the area of personal relationships that Emma really struggled, seeming always to pick the wrong man.

In the last few years, however, things have changed for Emma - or should I say, Emma has made the changes. The journey into property investing (buying and selling houses for profit) and personal development have given Emma a new sense of purpose and brought a more fulfilling partner into her life.

Stuart Lewton currently lives in South Devon, running the highly successful Commodore Hotel on Paignton seafront with his wife Katrina.

Peter and Natasha Hogg have a wealth of experience in marketing as a career background.
Being new to property investing, they had ideas and ambitions that they were finding difficult to achieve. Their first investment was a small HMO, which went well as a very first investment. Then, as Peter puts it, they became "distressed buyers" - eager to find the next deal quickly, which lead to a less successful investment.

Their story is one of persistence, and the realisation that by using their existing skills (in marketing), they can find the deals they are looking for in a way that suits them.

Dean Starr ventured into property investment to create time and security. Hear his story and why he founded an Award-Winning Social Housing business. 

West Midlands-based property investor Dean saw the opportunity at an early age to replace his full-time corporate income with passive property income.  That's exactly what he did within 12 months and moved to New Zealand to spend time with family.
