The untimely death of former NFL wide receiver 38 year old Vicent Jackson (San Diego Chargers & Tampa Bay Buccaneers), reminds us that life is extremely precious. As precious as life is, life is also saddening, difficult, and heartbreaking. At times life can be a cycle of dysfunction. While the 6"5 230lbs NFL receiver lived a charmed life. He leaves us questioning what happened and why so young. He was 38 (2 years younger than I) & he was a ROLE MODEL staying out of trouble and succeeded off the football field as well as off the field. He leaves behind his wife, parents and fans that remembered how he help and supported the 2 NFL cities he played. #83 R.I.P.

Taking a look around the NFL to see if the moves being made are the right moves for all 32 clubs, especially the 30 NFL franchises that didn't make it to this past Super Bowl.

The Falcons lost their second game of the 2020 season 39-40 against Dallas. The biggest take aways from this final score was the fact that Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan threw 4 touchdown passes, no interceptions, the Falcons fumbled but didn't lose any of those fumbles. Jaguars new head coach Urban Meyer makes a very questionable hire this week to fill out his coaching staff. Ben Roethlisberger is mentioned in former President Trump's 2nd Impeachment trial today, the Houston Texans are continuing their inward implosion and while all of this is happening the Buccaneers continue to celebrate their 2nd SuperBowl Championship in franchise history while the Chiefs figure out what went wrong and Chief's head coach Andy Reid tends to his family matters. Is the NFL'S offseason more dramatic than the regular season and postseason? I believe it is.

The Cincinnati Bengals ended the 2020 season with a 4-11-1 record. Zac Taylor the team's head coach was fortunate to hold on to his job after his second losing season but my question to the owners of the Bengals is this: where's your patience? Especially since rookie quarterback Joe Burrow had suffered a gruesome knee/leg injury. So why was coach Taylor's job in jeopardy knowing he lost his future star quarterback so early in the year? Now the question for the Bengals is this: who will be their quarterback in September 2021 if Burrow isn't healthy enough to return 9-12-2021.

The Eagles had the season from the gates of satan in 2020 and the head coach to give them their only Super Bowl Championship was fired, abruptly and late. The 2020 Atlanta Falcons were a bad football team, inconsistent, undisciplined and just plain horrible. Matt Ryan was as consistent as he could be with a bad offensive line and no rushing attack. A new head coach for Atlanta yet again. Arthur Smith formerly the offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans and new general manager Terry Fontenet formerly of the New Orleans Saints front office. With a new coach and g.m. in charge now. One of the main question is will Falcons franchise players Julio Jones and Matt Ryan be allowed to retire Atlanta Falcons? Stay tuned....
