Patrick MaHomes II and the Chiefs are looking for their 8th victory of the season against an under .500% Carolina Panthers club. Teddy Bridgewater and company have a hard task ahead of them as they face a defense ranked 3rd in the NFL in points allowed per game. Very good quarterback duel as well, looking forward to this one but game would be better if Carolina had a winning record!

The Falcons and the Broncos are both coming off wins in week 8 games. In their respective divisions none the less. Matt Ryan is looking to dominate the Denver Broncos defensive secondary this Sunday at home in Atlanta. Drew Lock is looking to put up some big numbers himself against a Falcons defense that's ranked from 22 to last in many NFL defensive categories this year. The Falcons are looking fr only their 3rd victory of the year while Denver is looking for a .500% bar. 4-4 if Denver wins Sunday in Atlanta.

The Titans lost on the road in week 8 against a Bengals team should've beaten quite honestly. And now Tennessee returns home to face a championship caliber defense in the Chicago Bears. The Bears almost beat Brees and the New Orleans Saints at home last week but fell short in overtime. Both of these teams have great defenses but only one has both a defense and an OFFENSE & that team in this matchup is the Titans. Can the Bears defense play the role of offense and defense this Sunday against the Titans or will they falter again in week 9?

The Ravens have their work cut out for them this Sunday as they face a tough, tough, opponent in the Indianapolis Colts. While the Colts have a top 5 NFL defense in points allowed. They don't have Peyton Manning anymore (duh) and Andrew Luck isn't walking through that door anytime soon. Lamar Jackson has to play better but he has a good record whenever he amd his team fights against Colts quarterback Philip Rivers and whom ever Rivers represents.

Jacksonville and Houston of the AFC South division were both on a bye week in week 8. Both teams also lost in week 6 before going into their byes together. The Texans defeated the Jags last month in Houston. Both teams are 1-6 with this year and both teams have new head coache in their franchises futures. For now it's the best of the losers bowl to see who'll be at the bottom of the division once the final gun has been shot around 4pm Sunday.

This is going to be a good 1! Seattle is primed to win their division as they won against their rivals San Francisco 49ers on week 8. Buffalo defeated the Patriots at home in Orchard Park New York for the first time in almost a decade last week. Russell Wilson is the little guy for Seattle at quarterback and for Buffalo Josh Allen is the big guy at quarterback. Statistically dueling each other this Sunday to see who's the best. Will the Bills defense slow Wilsons' cooking down to a full freeze or Will the Seahawks defense bring the 6"5 Bills q.b. down to their level?

New York Giants 2nd year quarterback Daniel Jones made some costly errors in MNF matchup against the Buccs. He can I'll afford to do the same this Sunday against the Football Team of Washington. The Giants won the first meeting of the season by 1 point back in October. 20-19. This game is the 178th meeting and it's in the Football Teams backyard. Washington needs to desperately steal this game to stay alive in the race for the 2020 NFC East division title.

Thank God it's almost Thursday. The Green Bay Packers look to do this year what they couldn't do in 2019 twice.......defeat the San Francisco 49ers in San Francisco. And trust me the NFL will schedule this game every year until Aaron Rodgers and the Packers defeat the 49ers in 49rr-land. Packers have a small but significant advantage this Thursday as the 49ers are beaten up, injured and wounded after a convincing 13-3 season last year. This year they're at 4-4 .500% through the first half of the 2020 season. Will the 49ers return to form with their backups and raise again or continue to fall?

Thank you Coach Arians, thank you Tom Brady, thank you Buccaneers defense. Thank you officials for picking up the yellow flag on the 2-point try at the end of the game. Thank you, thank you, thank you. The Buccaneers won last night which took me to 7-7 in week 8 picks! .500% thank God! By far the worst week in predicting winners I've had this season. But still 81-37-1 overall, primetime picks 18-9! Primetime games are always tricky and if it wasn't for my Falcons last Thursday night, I would've sweep primetime games this week. Buccaneers may be the 1st team to host a Super Bowl in their stadium and city in the history of the NFL.

A horrible Sunday afternoon in week 8 for me on yesterday. As I flirted with disaster for almost a month and disaster struck. Week's 5 & 6 my record was (8-6), week 7 a whopping 12-2!!! Yesterday a dreadful (5-6) with last night's game and Thursday night's game between Atl. & Car. (6-7) total. The Cowboys didn't let me down though as I knew they wouldn't losing to yet another division rival in Philadelphia last night 23-9 was the final. Thank God for the Cowboys because if it wasn't for them I'd be 5-8 right now and tonight's MNF game between the Buccaneers & Giants wouldn't even matter.
