The 2023 Pittsburgh Steelers where over achievers or because of their quarterback defiencies were they under achievers? Either way they achieved their way to the postseason yet again but finished with a first round loss. Kenny Pickett era is done as quickly as it began and now the Steelers with a good draft class have a former Super Bowl Champion in Russell Wilson and future franchise quarterback in Justin Fields with a Vick esc' prototype, so the biggest weakness is now a strength for Pittsburgh.

The 2023 Packers didn't appear to be that postseason team during the year but they quickly molded into just that, a dangerous, young, deadly offensive team that showed the Cowboys no mercy in the 48-32 dismantling in the wildcard round. The Packers defense is legit, but it appears they've decided to shake things up a bit especially when you see their roster and where their defenders are listed.

So the Jaguars made the postseason in 2022 after head coach Doug Pedersons first year. I said they were a year ahead of schedule and may take a step back in 2023 & the Jags did just that. The draft was filled with picks from the SEC rich conference and the question now is does franchise quarterback Trevor Lawrence make it through the season 100% healthy?

Anthony Richardson's health is the key 🔑 to the Colts success in 2024. The Colts were one game away from the tournament in January 2024, one game. The Colts defense gave up the most points in the AFC [415] which is unheard for them but that can be fixed. Will their franchise q.b. be healthy for 18 weeks, 17 games is the primary question right now.

Derek Carr must be consistent and healthy this season if the Saints want to be NFC South Champions for the first time in 4 years. The question is will he? The defense should be good again this year and very, very, productive as they got better during this off-season, however the secondary continues to be the question.

Joe Burrow must complete this season a 1000% healthy if the Bengals want to be in next January's tournament. Joe Burrow has had only one season in which he was healthy and that was the Super Bowl run in Jan. 2022. Offensive Coordinator Brian Callahan is now the Titans head coach but Bengals H.C. Taylor runs the Bengals offense. Trey Hendrickson wants more money but history shows he's with the wrong franchise to get his desires.

The Pete Carroll era has ended in the great northwest and the Mike McDonald era has begun as the Seahawks went from the 2md oldest H.C. to one of the youngest and brighter coaches in the league. Sam Howell will battle Geno Smith for the starting role and this defense will be upgraded to a base 3-4 as the new 'Hawks coach is already building up a Ravens/Steelers type of 3-4 defense that'll strike fear not only in the NFC West rivals but the entirety of the league.

The Russell Wilson era was a huge flop, a disaster in Denver, one the Broncos are still paying for literally. The question now is will it be Bo Nix or Jarrett Stidham. Fun fact is both qb's are Auburn wareagles/tigers even though Nix was drafted from Oregon. The draft was interesting for Denver to say the least, can the Broncos defense be better without the last leader they had in departed long time safety Justin Simmons?

The Josh McDaniels era been ended in Las Vegas and it is officially the Antonio Pierce era in sin city. Quarterback room is a question for the Raiders again this season but plenty of promise and talent on their offense, the defense is seriously good and will only get better in 2024.

Justin Fields is now a distinct & distant memory for Chicago as the Caleb Williams era is at hand and Fields is a Steeler. The Bears didn't have many draft picks so the question now is will Matt Eberflus make it to the 2025 season if the potential of 2024 doesn't manifest to production on the gridiron?
