Congratulations to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they are probably the team in Wild Card weekend that have the most to celebrate as they took down the defending NFC Champs, Philadelphia Eagles in a close game for awhile until Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers opened the scoring up late in the second half. The Eagles go home trying to figure out how and why as they were a Super Bowl favorite before this season started and the Buccaneers are headed to Detroit, in the Elite 8 (Divisional Round). Good thing for the Buccaneers the Lions play indoors.

Congratulations to the Detroit Lions as they not only win their division for the first time in 30 years, but also winning their first postseason game in a very long time as well. Matthew Stafford and his Rams lost in a very close heartbreaking way. Detroit will now wait for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to join them in Detroit in the round of the Elite 8 (Divisional Round).

Congratulations to the defending Super Bowl Champions, Kansas City Chiefs as they defeated my Dolphins on Saturday night in the first Wild Card round primetime game. The Chiefs advance to the round of the Elite 8 (Divisional Round) next weekend as they travel to Orchard Park New York to take on a very familiar foe, the Buffalo Bills. This is a rivalry game.

The 23rd game in this series will be the 6th playoff game ever between these NFC foes. Jalen Hurts and his Eagles will be in Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg area to face the 3 time consecutive NFC South division champion Buccaneers. Both teams wished for better seasons, it didn't happen. Philadelphia lost in week XVIII to end their season and Tampa Bay won in week XVIII to cement their playoff berth and division championship. Can PHILADELPHIA make another run to another American desert Super Bowl?

The 88th game in this series will not only an emotional game, but a fun game and a very unforgettable experience for both these quarterbacks and teams. The Rams and Lions won their week XVIII game to solidify their postseason spots and only one team can advance at the end of the second full weekend of the new year.

Jordan Love and his Packers won in week XVIII to solidify their 2024 tournament spot and they'll face Dak Prescott and his Cowboys in the 39th game of this series. The Packers and Cowboys have met eight times in postseason history. This Sunday former Super Bowl winning coach Mike McCarthy will face the team he won that Super Bowl again to try to advance to the Divisional Round or Elite 8 next weekend for the second consecutive year.

Mason Rudolph and the 7 seed Steelers are on the road in a very familiar place to face a very familiar postseason foe this Sunday at 1:00 eastern. The 2 seed Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen. Both these teams won in week XVIII to finish their seasons and cemented their playoff berths. Now in the 30th meeting in this series which teams Super Bowl conquest will end earlier than expected?

Congratulations to the Michigan Wolverines as they absolutely dominated the Washington Huskies on last night in the 2024 C.F.P. National Championship Game 13-34. I was wrong and my prediction was Washington winning 45-41. Now my C.F.B.P. National Championship record is 2-2 if I'm keeping count since I've started predicting the winner of this game from this great sport that will now hibernate until August 2024, Championship soon NCAA FOOTBALL, you'll be missed for 8 months.

Miami is coming off a loss to start their quest for a Super Bowl while Kansas City is coming off a victory to end their 2023 regular season. The Chiefs defeated the Dolphins 21-14 in the 2023 International Series in Germany. Tua Tagovailoa and his Dolphins will face Patrick MaHomes II and his Chiefs in the Saturday night cap game as this is the 33rd game in this series.

The 15th meeting ever between CLEVELAND and Houston happens in the Wildcard round to start the 2024 NFL Tournament. C.J. Stroud and the Texans host Joe Flacco and his Browns for the second time in as many weeks. Cleveland won the regular season meeting on Christmas Eve 2023 36-22. This game carries more weight however.
