Sometimes you can have an incredible experience somewhere…and still come home and realize there was more happening behind the scenes than you knew.

In this episode of The Prosperity Frequency, I’m revisiting my experience at Living Brave Live after watching conversations unfold in the weeks following the event.

I went to Colorado looking for expansion, connection, inspiration, and new friendships — and that’s exactly what I found. I met incredible women, made connections that are already turning into collaborations and podcast interviews, and left feeling lit up by what becomes possible when we intentionally put ourselves in bigger rooms.

And at the same time, since the event, I’ve watched people share very different experiences.

That has brought up a much bigger conversation for me about integrity, discernment, personal responsibility, victim consciousness, leadership, and what happens when the rose-colored glasses come off.

Before attending, I had already been given information that made me aware there could be reasons to keep my eyes open. Looking back, I’m grateful for that. It allowed me to go into the experience without blindly handing over my authority or putting someone on a pedestal.

I didn’t have a lot of skin in the game. I wasn’t financially or professionally dependent on the event. I went to meet people, expand my world, and have an experience — and I was able to walk away with the parts that were beautiful and leave the rest behind.

But not everyone had that same experience.

So this episode isn’t about pretending the good wasn’t good.

And it isn’t about pretending the difficult parts didn’t happen either.

It’s about holding more than one truth at the same time.

It’s about asking what integrity looks like when things get messy. What responsibility belongs to leaders? What responsibility belongs to us? How do we listen when people tell us who they are without surrendering our own discernment? And how do we process disappointment without giving away our power?

Because sometimes the lesson isn’t that you should have never entered the room.

Sometimes the lesson is learning how to enter every room with your eyes open.

We’re taking the rose-colored glasses off for this one.

And there are a lot of lessons underneath them.

What happens when you put yourself in a room with 3,000 women who are building big businesses, carrying big missions, and refusing to play small?

You expand.

The funny thing is, I didn’t go because I was burned out, stuck, or desperately searching for my next level. I was actually doing really well.

But that’s exactly the point.

Expansion isn’t only something we seek when things are falling apart. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do when life is already good is intentionally put yourself in a room that stretches your imagination of what’s possible.

Being surrounded by women with massive visions, unconventional businesses, bold ideas, wealth, creativity, and purpose completely lit me up. I left with new friendships, podcast guests, collaborations, speakers for my own community, and about a thousand new ideas firing through my brain.

And it reminded me exactly why I’m creating Big Cat Energy.

Big Cat Energy is the bigger room.

It’s a year-long mastermind and community for women who are ready to build meaningful things, expand their wealth and impact, and surround themselves with people who genuinely want to see them win.

Because sometimes you don’t need another course.

What if the way you sit down to work matters just as much as the work itself?

In this episode of The Prosperity Frequency, I’m talking about the rituals I use to bring my body, mind, and spirit into the creative process—from lighting a candle and calling in my ancestors, spirit guides, and higher self, to full-body shaking, tapping, and jumping on my rebounder when my physical energy needs to move.

Because creation requires more than your brain.

It requires your life force.

And that’s also why I’m not interested in spending 30 minutes writing an email that a tool can help me write in three.

We get into AI, the fear surrounding it, and why I believe refusing to use the tools available to us can sometimes mean wasting energy that could be going toward the work only you can do.

AI is a tool. Just like the internet was a tool.

So how do we use it without giving away the humanity, intuition, creativity, and spirit that make our work ours?

And somehow, that conversation leads us into one of the beliefs I think matters most if you want to create an extraordinary life:

Reckless optimism.

You do not accidentally stumble into the business, love, money, community, impact, or life you deeply desire.

At some point, you have to believe it is possible.

You have to hold the vision even when the world gives you a thousand reasons to expect the worst.

That doesn’t mean bypassing reality or pretending difficult things aren’t happening.

It means refusing to let fear, doom, and worst-case-scenario thinking become the energy from which you create your future.

In this episode, we talk about protecting your life force, using the tools available to you, bringing spirit into the mundane, and practicing the kind of reckless optimism that allows you to keep building toward the life you actually want.

Ten years ago, I was standing at the beginning of an entirely different life.

This week, as Burning Man is happening again, I’ve been reflecting on the world of festivals, freedom, rebellion, and possibility that played such a huge role in helping me imagine a life outside of corporate America.

That world changed me.

It introduced me to people who inspired me, expanded me, and showed me that life could look completely different than the version I had been handed.

But eventually, I also had to evolve beyond parts of it.

Over the years, I’ve lost people I loved from that community—not to old age, but to addiction, suicide, alcohol-related accidents, and choices that ultimately became incompatible with the lives they might have otherwise lived.

And it forced me to ask a much bigger question:

What good is the dream if I’m not healthy enough to live it?

When I first left my corporate career, I finally gave myself permission to ask what I actually wanted my life to look like.

I envisioned family. Community. Nature. A retreat center. Interesting people constantly flowing through my life. Healthy food. Movement. Connection. A lifestyle designed to support my body, mind, and spirit instead of constantly depleting them.

Today, one of my clearest intentions is simple:

I want to live to be 100.

And that vision changes the way I make decisions.

In this episode, I’m talking about why your mental, physical, and spiritual health are not side projects separate from your goals.

They are the foundation underneath everything you say you want.

Your wealth.
Your purpose.
Your relationships.
Your impact.
Your creativity.
Your big vision.

We’re looking at the places where your habits may still belong to an old version of your life—from drinking and smoking to food, stress, sleep, emotional avoidance, or the environments you continue to put yourself in.

Because if you are serious about becoming the person who lives your vision, your habits eventually have to align with it.

You get to decide what you want your life to become—and then intentionally build the mental, physical, spiritual, and behavioral foundation capable of carrying you there.

Stop stumbling through life one problem at a time.

Create the vision.

Then start becoming the person who can live it.

What happens when the thing you say you want actually shows up?

An invitation.
An opportunity.
A room you could enter.
A decision that might change the trajectory of your life.

Do you move?

Or do you freeze, overthink, hesitate, look for reasons it won’t work, and eventually let the opportunity pass?

In this episode, I’m talking about what happens when the Universe puts an opportunity in front of you—and why your response to that moment matters far more than you may realize.

Recently, I invited several women to come with me to Living Brave Live. From my perspective, it was an incredible opportunity: access to an expansive room, an amazing experience, and the chance to do it in a way that could be surprisingly accessible.

What fascinated me wasn’t simply that some people said no.

It was how many people didn’t respond at all.

How many hovered somewhere between yes and no.

How quickly hesitation, skepticism, logistics, fear, and old identity stories appeared.

And it made me think about how often life gives us an opportunity to rise into a new version of ourselves—but we keep making decisions from the identity we say we are trying to leave behind.

So many of us were raised to be good girls.

Be nice. Be agreeable. Don’t make anyone uncomfortable. Don’t be too loud, too opinionated, too ambitious, too much.

We learn how to fit in long before we ever learn how to fully belong to ourselves.

In this episode, I’m talking about the power of your inner rebel—the part of you that is willing to be misunderstood, disliked, judged, or questioned if that is what it takes to stop abandoning yourself.

Because there is a part of you that knows something important:

If everyone approves of you, you may still be editing yourself for their comfort.

Your inner rebel is the part that says, I would rather be fully myself than universally liked.

She is willing to tell the truth.
She is willing to take up space.
She is willing to shine.
And she does not need everyone to understand her in order to keep going.

We’ll talk about people-pleasing, good girl conditioning, the shame that comes with stepping outside of who you were taught to be, and why learning to tolerate other people’s discomfort can become one of the most liberating things you ever do.

Because every time you choose yourself instead of abandoning yourself for approval, you give someone else permission to do the same.

It’s time to harness your inner rebel and let yourself be seen.

I have been talking about writing my first book for a long time—and I have finally begun.

As exciting as it is, beginning this new chapter has also awakened all the familiar voices of self-doubt, criticism, and insecurity. Because when we start learning something our brain considers high stakes—something that may eventually bring greater visibility, judgment, or exposure—our nervous system can interpret it as a threat.

Suddenly, we are questioning whether we are good enough, whether we know what we are doing, and whether we should be doing it at all.

In this episode, I’m talking about the courage required to be seen as a beginner. To let people witness us learning. To make decisions without knowing whether they will work. And to move toward the life we desire even when failure is possible.

Because the only way to truly live your dreams is to become willing to fail—and to fail more than once.

Every mistake teaches you something. Every disappointment redirects you. Every attempt brings you closer to the work, life, and path of purpose that are truly meant for you.

You do not need to know exactly how it will all work out.

You simply have to decide, begin, and keep moving.

E63: The One Habit That Helped Me Optimize Every Area of My Life

This might be the closest thing I’ve found to a midlife life hack:

Lifting weights.

It has changed my energy, my mood, my confidence, my focus, my strength, and the way I feel inside my body.

And for women in midlife, strength training is about so much more than changing how we look. It supports our bones, our brain, our metabolism, our mobility, and our ability to keep living independently and powerfully as we age.

The best part?

It does not need to be complicated.

You do not need to spend two hours in the gym. You do not need to know what every machine does. You do not need to become a fitness person.

I’m going to tell you exactly what I do, and it takes me about 30 minutes.

Do it twice a week, stay consistent, and give your body four or five months to respond.

I swear, you may start to feel that youthful, energized version of yourself coming back—the woman you remember being but haven’t quite known how to find again.
