"I've been in therapy and seen a psychiatrist for over 15 years. Intensive treatment for an eating disorder 10 years ago changed my life. As a parent and professional, managing stress is a daily battle, but psychedelic therapy and the integration of my sessions has been my anchor".

Welcome to your weekly dose of The Psychedelic Psychologist. This week we drop in with David. Getting a beautiful chance to reflect and rediscover his healing path.
When the time comes to embark on another session, it's important to recognize that this is not his first journey. With each session, he's become increasingly attuned to his body and its signals. These experiences open up numerous pathways for self-recalibration and addressing deeply rooted issues. Each session becomes an opportunity to focus on specific traumas from his past and navigate through them.
The Call for Growth
David shares- " I've observed that as I process these experiences in manageable, bite-sized chunks, I gain confidence and comfort with this new existence I've crafted for myself. Eventually, I reach a point where my body calls for something bigger—an invitation to delve deeper. This continuous introspection brings forth questions: Am I still searching for something? Is there an unresolved feeling or situation within me?"

Welcome to your weekly dose of The Psychedelic Psychologist. This week we drop in with Amy. A light of devotion to oneself.
Amy is coming in very grounded and excited. She describes her state as a combination of feeling rooted and joyful, without being swept away. We're embarking on something new today - a candid discussion about the reality of psychedelics and their integration into her life.
The Draw to Psychedelic Therapy - "For me, medications weren't the solution. I wasn’t healing; I was stuck. I was merely existing, not living. Then, my life took a drastic turn when I discovered psychedelics. This is where medication and true healing began to diverge for me. I credit the psychedelics—what I refer to as 'medicines'—for providing me with a fresh perspective. For clarity, 'medicines' is what I call psychedelics, whereas 'medications' is what I call the pills."
"I was living with complex PTSD, fighting through decades of therapy and various medications like Lexapro and Xanax. But then, a wonderful therapist recommended 'The Body Keeps the Score,' guiding me towards a transformative journey with psychedelic therapy. I found my incredible guide and made a significant change."
- Welcome to your weekly dose of The Psychedelic Psychologist. This week we drop in with Thomas. Magic in the authentic self. When frustrations creep in, I start to lose the magic in everyday moments. It's a gentle reminder to be kinder to myself and those around me. Finding balance and staying true to who I am is an ongoing journey.
Emotions can be complicated. They don't always align with who we are or what we want to feel. In those moments when we're less gentle with ourselves and those around us, we lose our grace. It's in these little things that I sense myself falling out of sync, not operating on the frequency I desire.
"When I'm at my best, everything feels true." - Thomas

Welcome to your weekly dose of The Psychedelic Psychologist, this week I am humbled and grateful to connect with John.
In the past several years, John has been on an incredible journey of transformation and healing. This journey has not only been about coming to terms with himself but also about addressing deep-seated family trauma and understanding life's broader complexities.
Embracing the Journey
John began this path by focusing inward, nurturing a vital connection with himself. This self-exploration was the foundation of his broader healing process. As a transgender individual, this journey was fraught with unique challenges, but also opportunities for profound growth. John's story emphasizes the significance of starting with oneself before extending that healing outward to others.
Healing Family Trauma
After establishing a stronger relationship with himself, John turned his attention toward family trauma. Confronting these painful memories and experiences was no small feat, but it was a necessary step. This process allowed John to build strength and gain wisdom, enabling him to confront and address the past.
Understanding Life and Broader Connections
John's personal journey didn't stop with family trauma. It expanded to include a deeper understanding of life itself and how trauma affects the world. This broader perspective allowed John to see the interconnectedness of personal experiences and global events. Understanding these connections enabled him to gain strength and wisdom from the collective human experience.

Welcome to your weekly dose of The Psychedelic Psychologist. This week we drop in with Terrence.
In our fast-paced, ever-evolving world, taking a moment to breathe, let go, and surrender to possibilities is a luxury many crave but few attain. This week's guest on The Psychedelic Psychologist is Terrence, a person whose life journey is deeply intertwined with psychedelic experiences and mindfulness. Together, Terrence and Ryan explore the concepts of letting go and surrendering, not just in the context of psychedelics but as universal life practices.
The Art of Letting Go
Ryan opens the conversation by inviting listeners to breathe and surrender. It's a practice not just of taking in the breath but also of letting it go, symbolizing the ebb and flow of life itself. This meditative approach sets the tone for a deeper exploration of the balance between holding on and surrendering: "What are we looking to hold on to? And what are we capable of surrendering?"
