On tonights podcast Rosie is going to discuss some of the amazing things we can do in a meditative state.

In the 1960s Maharishi Yogi predicted that a small amount of people experiencing a coherent meditative state would create a significant measurable influence on coherence and orderliness throughout the surrounding society. This became known as the Maharishi Effect.  Since the 1960's  there have been many breakthrough studies that support how important the power of belief and intention is.

In the first hour of our podcast, Leslie will be discussing transits occurring in the coming week, the SuperMoon and the first Lunar Eclipse this year.  The first (lunar) eclipse of the year occurs January 31, falling at 11 degrees of Leo. The lunar peak occurs at 8:27 AM, EST.

This Moon (eclipse) is also considered a SuperMoon, making it very powerful.  The Earth, Sun and Moon are all in a line with the Moon in its nearest approach to the earth.

In the second hour Rosie will be discussing Mudra's, and what they are, how they are used and the amazing benefits of using them daily.

Mudra is a term with many meanings. It is used to signify a gesture, a mystic position of the hands, a seal, or even a symbol. However, there are eye positions, body postures, and breathing techniques that are called mudras. These symbolic finger, eye, and body postures can vividly depict certain states or processes of consciousness. Conversely, specific positions can also lead to the states of consciousness that

they symbolize.

On tonight's podcast Rosie is going to discuss free will and what it means to us.  One of the oldest questions in psychology, and in other fields such as philosophy, is whether humans have free will.

You have been given free will to help you learn and evolve while adding individuality and by giving you choices. The individual choices that you make and the intent behind the choices you make will further define who you are.

Free will is the idea that we are able to have some choice in how we act and assumes that we are free to choose our behavior, in other words we are self determined or at least some believe that!
