Rob Walch is the VP of podcaster relations for Libsyn, the largest leading podcast network. Audio podcasting is currently in vogue, but has it always been that way? As one of the first podcasters from 2004, Walch reflects on the evolution of the platform and the benefits that an audio-only show offers its producers in editing, engagement, and monetization. Walch — who literally wrote the book on podcasting — also goes on record with advice for what hardware and software are available to an aspiring podcaster and the hosting and distribution benefits offered by Libsyn’s premium service.
