Merry Christmas, PUDs!! This year The PUDcast gives the gift that keeps on giving, as we look back on the show that started it all, Through the Ropes with Chris and Josh!

Way back in 1996, before the internet boom, the only way to get the inside scoop on the professional wrestling industry were by magazines, “dirt sheets” and telephone “hotlines”’ but two young broadcasting students wanted to do more, those two men; Josh Stewart and Chris Stowe!

Broadcasting from WSGE, Gaston College radio, “Through The Ropes with Chris and Josh” would go on to become the most popular professional wrestling talk show in the area and would sow the seeds for what would later become The Millennium Wrestling Federation!

With great pride and honer, we encourage you to join us as we look back on an episode that originally aired on December 30th, 1996!

We also want to thank the following people who helped create this presentation and without whom this special wouldn’t have been possible; Jeff “E-man” Blackwell, Chris “Reno” Baker, David “2Doggz” Hayes, Josh Stewart, Chris Stowe and all of you!

The PUDcast also wants to wish each and every one of you a very merry Christmas and PUDful New Year!

As the holiday season draws to an end The PUDs welcome, not one but two guests to The PUDcave! Dawn Adams and Chris Isenburg join in the shenanigans as Mike and Jason face off in the greatest debate of our time, which is the better Christmas movie, Die Hard or Lethal Weapon?!

While Mike takes the stance that Lethal Weapon is the better Christmas movie while Jason isn’t even convinced that Lethal Weapon should be considered a Christmas movie to begin with!

Other topics include the McGangbang, Mel Gibson’s naked butt and a special audio clip from the O.G. PUD himself, Dustin Fowler!

The Christmas season rolls on as we remember the real “reason for the season”, TOYS! Just kidding!! But toys were a big part of Christmas growing up in the 80’s and the PUDs share some of their favorite toy memories from back in the day!

Transformers, G.I. Joe, He-Man and way too many more for my lazy ass to type out are covered! So step into the PUD Time Machine and blast off!

The PUDcast wants to thank Center Lane for allowing us to play their bad ass track, “Dirty Money” today!  PLEASE like, subscribe and share these guys!!!

The immortal one himself, David “2Doggz” Hayes drops by the PUDCave to talk about one of pro wrestling’s biggest mistakes to ever take place, the inclusion of Paul Roma in the legendary Four Horsemen !

Join us as we discuss why, pretty much anybody else, would have been a better choice and why!

But be prepared, the conversation goes pretty much all over the place including vomit. So there’s that….

Don’t forget to check out David’s podcast, THIS IS A WORK with his co-host Chris Barns every month to bring you the best WWE Pay Per View reviews!

T’is the season for PUDs! And what better way to kick off the count down to Christmas than by looking at some of the greatest, and not so great, holiday specials of all time!

From The Grinch to Pee Wee Herman we talk about some of our favorite memories of those specials that only happened at the most wonderful time of the year! AHHHH!!!!

Other topics include the weather,  where the PUDs went to elementary school,  The Rudolph the red nosed reindeer controversy and much more!

The PUDs would also like to thank The Bad Somethings for allowing us to play their song, “My Bike” off their new self titled album!!  Check’em out, PUDs!  These guys are great!

After the big meal and all the family arguing we invite you to reflect back on a day that would forever change the course of professional history!  Taking place on November 26th 1987 the WWF and the NWA went head to head in a pay per view showdown that would be forever known as "The Battle for Thanksgiving"! With Starrcade, the NWA's premier yearly event on one side and the WWF's new concept The Survivor Series on the other both companies would compete for dominance in a war that would go back and forth for over a decade!

Join the PUDs as we talk about what was going on behind the scenes, break down each match from both shows and give or takes on what worked, what didn't and who would ultimately win "The Battle for Thanksgiving"!

Other topics include Old school satellite dishes, NASCAR in the 80's, the song Wrestlemania 6 by the band Wrestling and the Whistling Caves of Puddingham England!

In our first major cross promotion event, The PUDs team up with The Millennium Wrestling Federation to discuss Lincoln County's largest wrestling event of the year, Brawl Games! And who better to have in The PUDcave than The MWF’s very own “The King of The MWF” Christopher King Baldwin and “The Protector of The MWF” Ray Hansen collectively known as The Fellowship of The Ring!

Other topics include hazing in pro wrestling, The Becky Lynch / Nia Jax controversy,  independent wrestling icon AG Smooth but it’s mostly just pure chaos!

The PUDcast welcomes our long time friend and Rock n’ Roll D.J. The Doctor of Love himself, Chris “Reno” Baker to the PUDcave!

We invite you to join us as we discuss how he got started in the business, the inner workings of a radio station,  the state of the current music scene, Hip Hop acts in the Rock n’ Roll Hall of fame, the partying daze and much more!

Who better to kick off our new Spotlight series than Mr. Excitement himself, “Dirty” Dick Slater!

From his start in Florida to his final days in WCW we cover Dick's journey including his best feuds and angles,  real life altercations and his epic run in the Crockett promotion in 1984!

Other topics include WWE Crown Jewel, the importance of Evolution and 2015’s all women's PPV presented by TNA, Knockouts Knockdown!
