Welcome back to a very special episode of the Punch Drunk Soul Podcast! Today I am sharing an interview from one of my favorite shows, the RadiantPreneur rising show from my good friend Jessica Tomlinson.
I wanted to share this interview with you guys because it's one of my favorite interviews I've given and I know it will resonate with many of you out there who are new in your coaching business or still working over the fears and imposter syndrome to get started!
In This Episode you'll hear me share:
✨My honest thoughts on imposter syndrome
✨The mindset shift that I made in order to take action on a big goal immediately
✨How just sharing my experience in business without needing to share "expert tips" or "strategy" has been beneficial for others
✨The internal and external balance for developing confidence and one of my favorite practices for remembering and honoring how great we truly are
✨My best advice for being able to listen to your soul and be in alignment in your business
✨The main reason many people feel like an employee in their own business, and how I have built my business in a way that feels good. This is especially potent as I record this intro the day I leave on a 2-week vacation to Italy and Spain where my business will be running in the background and I won't be working since I've put the systems and processes in place to step away successfully!
✨Why the business you start with won't be the business you end with - and the best way to change and grow with your biz
✨My advice for dealing with change and letting go of fear of the unknown
✨THE #1 question I constantly ask myself
And sooo much more!

This week I'm bringing on a good friend who actually took my program Path to Freedom last year. Serena Ryan is a Registered Nurse turned entrepreneur who always had a dream to be the next Oprah. She works as a coach for online entrepreneurs launching products and services with her husband Andy and she's now also developing her other passion project, "Homeschoolpreneur Society." Serena is also a Homeschooling, obviously, mama to two boys and has combined her two passions of online marketing & Homeschooling with her new brand, "Homeschoolpreneur Society". Through this company she helps Homeschooling families gain financial freedom and create more impact by growing an online business lights her up.
I love this episode because Serena and I talk about everything from mom guilt, homeschooling, time management, giving yourself permission when you seek it from others, learning how to nurture and love yourself, starting your own business, shutting down a product, and restarting your business, and most importantly, what it takes to find alignment, get clarity on your purpose and discover what your business is meant to be and who it's meant to serve.
You'll hear Serena's time management tips that she uses to help her business from home while she homeschools 2 young boys. You'll hear how she started a business but let everyone else dictate what it should be until it was so mis-aligned that she shut it down. You'll also hear what it's been like for her to invest in herself and how we both agree the best part about having your own business is falling in love with the person you become in the process.
Ahh, so many good feels from this episode!
Don't forget, Serena was able to turn her experience and expertise into her own coaching business without being certified...if you want to learn how to do the same thing, for a limited time I'm actually offering a free PDF guidebook that gives an overview and outline of the exact process, my PCM framework, that I teach inside my Path to Freedom Program that Serena took last year.
The bonus worksheet for the PCM framework that you can download now for free WILL be sold separately soon, so if you're thinking about starting a coaching business, or you already have but you aren't getting anywhere with it, this is the perfect next step for you.
❌No more confusion about what value you have to offer.
❌No more pulling your hair out trying (but failing) to share your gifts and experience with the world in a way that makes sense
❌No more stressing over the fact that you're not qualified "enough"
❌No more "I'm a coach!" but you're actually only doing "pro-bono" work
With this ONE simple & quick action guide you'll be able to understand how your own life experience and knowledge can be turned into a powerful system for getting clients results and be sold as a high-ticket, high-value program.

In today's episode I'm talking to a friend of mine, Amy Lynne Hayes who I actually met online in a Facebook Business group! When I started visiting Fort Lauderdale earlier this year I reached out because we were both online coaches and she lived in the area. We hit it off immediately and have been biz buds and friends since.
Amy's built a successful web design business but ventured into coaching when she knew web design was no longer aligned with her. I've really appreciated her journey because her first year as a coach, like mine, wasn't always easy. We both went through a lot of trial and error, worked with coaches but we STILL didn't reach our goals in our first year. The beauty is we both learned not to make that mean that we were doing anything wrong. Amy has a lot of great insights into coaching, what it is, and even shares some tips on how you can start to coach yourself in this episode!
We talk a lot about her journey getting to this point and how she really just had to experiment with life up to this point until she finally landed on something that felt aligned with her - after years of travel and learning to shed the identities she thought made her who she was.
I love that Amy and her sister, based on their years of developing freelance businesses have created their own coaching business AND coaching methodology that they call the GC method.
You guys know I'm all about creating your own proprietary framework to coach clients so you can set you apart from the competition, gain confidence in your process, and deliver a high-value, high-ticket service. It's so important if you want to be a profitable coach, especially if you don't have prior coaching experience or certification.
Don't forget, for a limited time I'm actually offering a free PDF guidebook that gives an overview and outline of the exact process, my PCM framework, that I teach inside my paid Path to Freedom Coach Academy Program to help you craft your own signature coaching method, just like successful coaches like Amy are doing.
The bonus worksheet for the PCM framework that you can download now for free WILL be sold separately soon, so if you're thinking about starting a coaching business, or you already have but you aren't getting anywhere with it, this is the perfect next step for you.

Today I'm joined by Cyrene Krey, a total badass of a woman, a Path to Freedom graduate and current client. I wanted Cyrene to come share her story with you guys today because I think it's such a great example of how the first year in business REALLY goes.
It's all about trial and error, discovering what's really aligned with you and what's not and exploring the business that's right for you.
Cyrene started off with one business that was based on her passion, photography but found it was like pulling teeth! That's when she switched paths and started something that was more aligned with her true calling - serving women who'd been through trauma and helping them transform their inner badasses.
Cyrene took her life experience and packaged it up into a system that other women can now use to really take control of their lives back, to stop getting walked all over and start standing up for themselves and overcome and manage the trauma and PTSD that affects them.
And she did this all without being certified or having a degree in psychology. We dive into how she was able to do this in this episode. The truth is, people actually want to work with someone who's gone through what they're going through. And often the best people to help them are just a few steps ahead of them. But first you need to package up that experience into a replicable system for others to go through!
For a limited time I'm actually offering a free PDF guidebook that gives an overview and outline of the exact process, my PCM framework, that I teach inside my Path to Freedom Program that Cyrene took to develop her own coaching program.
The bonus worksheet for the PCM framework that you can download now for free WILL be sold separately soon, so if you're thinking about starting a coaching business, or you already have but you aren't getting anywhere with it, this is the perfect next step for you.

Also on this episode we chat about our trip to Thailand and how Cyrene got the courage to travel out of the country for the first time ever BY HERSELF no less to attend my retreat. And we also get into how much she's invested in herself and her business and what that's been like for her. She shares the fears she had around investing in herself and how it turns out that what she was really afraid of was failing.
We've all been there but Cyrene shares how she was able to turn this around to have success and land her first paid client!

On this episode of the Punch Drunk Soul Podcast I'm interviewing Catie B. Jensen. Catie is a leadership development specialist who works with teams and organizations to shift their current cultures to ones that are value aligned, relationally sound, healthier and more productive. She's been doing this work in the pediatric health care system for over ten years and adores what she's learned and how she's now able to translate her skills into her own coaching business.
Catie is a woman I've gotten to know through the mastermind I joined this year with Alyssa Nobriga. In this episode, Catie and I talk a lot about the transformations we've experienced through masterminds and how scary those decisions to invest have been. We also dive deep into Catie's spiritual awakening she had that led her to really question her identity and if it was truly the real her.
Over the last year she's really taken a good look into the mirror to discover that she was wearing a lot of masks and not letting herself show the full range of herself and her emotions. She dealt with anxiety, depression, guilt, and many periods of darkness in the last year to get where she is today, feeling fully aligned with herself and her new business.
Catie is one of those rare cases of someone who actually loves her job but she came to the realization last year that there could be MORE to life than what she was living. More than the 9-5 grind. More than the conditioned patterns we've been taught to follow.
I love this interview because Catie is such an authentic, warm presence and she truly shares what it's been like to start her coaching business over the last year. The struggles, the doubt, the anxiety, the fear, everything that comes along with it and how she's been able to grow from it.
I know you'll love this interview, especially if you're just starting out in the first year of your business or you haven't quite gotten the courage to take the plunge yet.

Fernanda Lind is a mindfulness and mindset coach for high performers, who built her 6-figure business while also being a mom of 3, and working full time in a financial markets career.
As a perpetual high-achiever herself, she has two master's degrees (An MBA and a Masters Degree in Dance).
With a career in the financial markets, she understands high pressure and a stressful environment. And having a background as a professional dancer she also has extensive experience in performing at the highest level.
Fernanda specializes in coaching high achievers, leaders, executives and entrepreneurs from all over the world to become unstoppable and as we talk about in this episode, unconquerable.
I absolutely love this episode because not only do we get into Fernanda's story, including what she went through to get where she is today, how she's built a successful business, how she's aligned with herself and purpose had how she was able to go through a massive Spiritual Awakening, but we also get into a lot of talk around mindset, brain waves, neuroplasticity and how your thoughts really do create your reality.
This episode has something for everyone from the nerdy to the rational to the woo woo. Wherever you are on your personal growth and spiritual growth journey, you will find this episode not only insightful and practical, but inspiring as well.
Fernanda and I originally got to know each other from a business Mastermind group we were a part of together and we've since become very close, attending many retreats together over the last two years. She is someone who is hard to describe because she is incredibly smart, incredibly driven, competitive, and highly rational, but also extremely caring, compassionate, and generous.
I feel like she's always been somewhat of an enigma to me and that's why I'm so appreciative of getting to do this in-depth interview with her about her story and how she got to be the way she is - an extremely successful entrepreneur, mother of three, and also so Zen! She's like a beautiful female Buddha.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did!

Today on the podcast I'm talking to Gwen Lane, Gwen is a digital marketing superstar, founder of The LA Girl, and founder of Spark Society, a community for online influencers, where she also teaches influencers how to grow and monetize their influence.
I met Gwen almost 2 years ago now and it's been incredible to watch her grow, and grow so fast. So for those of you listening who want to grow your business quickly, this is a must listen. Not all of you guys out there are ready to go "all in" to your business right now, and that's ok, go at your own pace - but then you have to be real about your expectations and how far you can grow and how fast. If you're ready for quick growth though, I highly suggest taking a page from Gwen's playbook in this episode.
I really love this conversation because we go deep and dig into so many things from how Gwen's invested over $50K in her business over the last 2 years (but side note she has made such an insane return on that investment, making every penny worth it), to how we're all actually influencers in one way shape or form.
We also explore Gwen's personal mindset and her morning routine that she uses to set herself up for success. It's really similar to mine actually and we both agree our simple mindfulness practices have had the biggest impact on our businesses.
We also explore how Gwen got started as an entrepreneur and how she used all of her 10 years of experience in corporate america as her training for business.
Gwen also shares the sacrifices she made in order to grow her business quickly. There's no getting around it, growing a business requires work, perseverance, and as we state multiple times on this podcast, consistency!
While you certainly don't have to invest as much or grow as fast as Gwen did, there is a certain amount of grit and resilience required of entrepreneurs, especially online entrepreneurs these days that get constantly trolled. We also talk about that and how you gotta just let the haters hate without thinking too far into it.Hope you guys enjoy this episode, as much as I did!

Today I have a really special guest and this just happens to be one of my favorite episodes that I've recorded by far, we just get so deep into what it really takes to grow a business and the truth behind the investments, the breakdowns and the breakthroughs. It's just a real honest, heartfelt conversation between friends and colleagues.
Katie Momo is the guest on this episode and Katie is actually the launch strategist and copy expert who I hired to work with on my last launch and she turned out to be not only amazing at what she does but also just a wonderful person as well and I've really come to value her and our relationship, as well as just who she is for her clients and her audience.
So Katie is a sales strategist who is responsible for her clients selling over 12 million dollars in online product (and counting!). She uses a trifecta of sales copy, launch strategy, and Facebook ads for serious persuasive punch. You know I love those boxing metaphors!
In this conversation, Katie and I cover everything from how she originally got into entrepreneurship and how it was a family affair from the start to how she left business school when she realized learning about business in school was nothing like business in the real world. We discuss about how she even questioned her career choice of being an entrepreneur after business school left her so confused. That's when Katie's whole crazy journey unfolded for her, as she kept saying yes to the things that she was curious about exploring, including studying jewelry design and starting to work in the jewelry business.
And when the market crashed in 2008, the jewelry business crashed hard along with it. But Katie shares a fascinating story about the impact a simple mindset practice had on the profitability of this one tiny jewelry shop, in this one tiny town, on this tiny little Island on the West Coast of British Columbia where she worked.
We dive deep into how Katie was finally able to find her niche and a business that truly aligns with who she is by continuing to say yes to the things that intrigued her. We also talk about how crazy running your own business is and how heavy your failures can feel and how to overcome them.
We also discuss how Katie grew from her biggest breakdown and biggest disappointment and how much money Katie invests and spends per month on her business. We talk very openly about money on this episode which is something I'm really proud of and excited to share and I think you guys will really love it, especially if you've ever felt guilty, embarrassed, ashamed or just foolish for spending money on your growth and or on your business.
It's by far one of my favorite episodes, so I'm curious to hear what you guys think. So be sure to tag us on Instagram I'm @punchdrunksoul and Katie is @hellokatiemomo and let us know!
