Hi everyone! Welcome back to another episode of the Punch Drunk Soul Podcast! I'm your host Ali Daniel.
Before we dive into today's episode I want to share the Love Note I wrote to my email list last week.
We are in unprecedented times - and I want you to hear this. STAY CALM. I have something FREE to offer you at the end of this email ❤️️
Now more than ever is the time we need to band together and support each other. Now more than ever, community, connection and support is essential.
The Universe is giving us a sign - to SLOW THE FUCK DOWN. All of us. Every single human being on the planet.
Never before in the history of the world has something like this happened. Something that caused the whole world to hit the "pause" button. But it's happening now.
Right now we have an opportunity to pause. To go within. To rest. To reconnect back to ourselves. To stay at home. To get to know ourselves. To connect with loved ones. To rediscover the joys of doing nothing. To play. To learn. To ponder the meaning of our lives.
These are hard times, yes. There's no denying it. Many people have lost jobs, lost family members, lost their sense of security and safety. But fear not - what's available to you now is discovering your inherent safety and security within yourself.
We cannot panic in times like this. We cannot succumb to fear and mania. We MUST stay strong, centered, grounded. We must question our fear-based thoughts and beliefs. We must reassure our friends and family members. We must stay calm for our children. This will not last, this too shall pass. And when it does, you will be recognized as someone who LED others through this crisis.
Right now we have billions of people learning new ways of being, new ways of living, new ways of working and society is ripe for massive changes. In the coming weeks and months we will see a HUGE boom in the coaching industry. Because now more than ever people are ready for change. People are ready for growth. People are ready for fulfilling their purpose, for finding their dream jobs, for creating true love.
Now more than ever is our time to rise as leaders and coaches of the world. People NEED guidance, they need someone to trust, they need someone to support them. They need someone to help show them the way through their problems.
I've said it before and I'll say it a million more times.
COACHES ARE THE FUTURE. COACHES WILL LEAD THE WORLD.
So right now is your time. You MUST rise to the occasion. You must not shrink back in fear and give up or refuse to start. Now more than ever before, people NEED your voice. They NEED your message. They NEED your guidance.
Will you rise up and share your gifts and help them in their biggest time of need? Or will you hide away in fear?
In fear that no one can afford to work with you?
In fear that no one will want to invest right now?
In fear that you won't be able to make it?
We need to QUESTION these thoughts and beliefs. Because there are people out there now more than ever before ready to make changes. Recognizing their own mortality and the preciousness of life. They WANT change and they want it now.
Now is the time to ask yourself - how can I serve? How can I provide value to my audience who needs me? What can I do to support?
I've been asking my clients and myself these questions the last few days and I have been trying to come up with something that would create the most impact.
Here's what I want to offer you all in support and to be in service to you in your time of need - a virtual women's mini retreat.
This is for women who would like to take advantage of this time to grow, lead and create their own income starting now so you never again have to rely on someone else or wonder how secure your income is. I, personally, along with a few other handpicked coaches I ask to support me in this, will mentor you through this time during this women's retreat and however many more I feel called to offer moving forward.
During times of change and uncertainty, there is always hardship, but there is also SO much opportunity.
Think of this as a virtual women's mini retreat for women around the world to come together in our time of need.
There will be more than one retreat, so you can look forward to trainings on:
And it will all be FREE. I want to support you guys and not only help you get through this crisis but come out stronger and more successful on the other side.
If you'd like to join us, you can go to punchdrunksoul.com/virtualretreat
Please, can I ask that you share this with ONE friend (or more) who you can invite to attend with you and who you think may benefit from something like this. Send them the link punchdrunksoul.com/virtualretreat.
Ok, now back to our regularly scheduled programming!
In this episode I'm interviewing Maya Gaddie. Maya is a business coach and mentor for full-time coaches who are ready to create the ultimate client experience for their clients. She has helped over 300 coaches create purposeful and profitable signature programs online and now she works with her clients to easily and successfully fine-tune their onboarding and offboarding process so that they are no longer the bottleneck in their business.
I'm SO excited to share this interview with you guys today because we get to take a look into Maya's 9 year old business - from the moment she decided to step away from her 9-5 career, to launching her first course (that she sold for just $10 with a $1 upsell for 1:1 coaching), to how she's invested over $200,000 in her business over the course of her 9 years.
What a fun this episode this is. I've never had the opportunity to really peel back the layers of anyone's business so in depth on this podcast before. I know you guys are going to love hearing about the evolution of not only Maya's business, but mine as well as we swap stories of how our coaching businesses have grown and changed over time.
We also talk about the Corona Virus and how we might just be on the cusp of another personal growth revolution as people spend more time getting quiet, reflecting, spending time alone, being still, reading, and learning new ways of being in the absence of work life and the hustle bustle grind of the 9-5 rat race. How maybe this will be the time for people to really reconnect back to what life is TRULY about - having fun and that when this thing blows over - or even DURING it, we might see a surge in self-exploration and personal growth investments.
What I love about this episode is that we get to learn a few things from Maya - 1) How sustainable your own coaching business can be throughout a decade 2) How your business changes and adapts to you over time 3) How and why to focus in on ONE thing to be successful in your business 4) Starting where you're at and not trying to be perfect before you start, and so much more.
Be sure to give us a shoutout on instagram I'm @PunchDrunkSoul and Maya is @MayaGaddie and let us know what you think of this interview!

Hi everyone! Welcome back to another episode of the Punch Drunk Soul Podcast! I'm your host Ali Daniel. Today I have a friend and fellow coach, Kendra Delahooke on the show!
Kendra is also a licensed marriage and family therapist who now specializes in parent coaching and helping children overcome anxiety and related challenges. She loves supporting families to make parenting easier and more enjoyable. She has completed training in DIR Floortime, somatic, and trauma therapies which we start to dive into on this episode and how Kendra uses her training and knowledge of these practices in her coaching business. As her coaching business has started to take off in the last year, Kendra has also had the opportunity to start speaking and presenting to parents at schools, conferences and even other major companies like Snapchat about her work.
I'm thrilled to share this episode with you guys because we get into some practical tools you can use to calm your anxiety, cast out fear, and break out of the small life you've been conditioned to pursue.
Kendra shares how she was able to overcome a lot of her fear and anxiety around teaching and being a coach by getting in touch with her WHY and how the enneagram has helped her understand her inherent tendencies and break through her perceived barriers.
We also dive into each person's individual wiring and how it affects how we perceive situations differently and why some people are afraid of crowds while others aren't and how we can start to use the way we're wired to manage stress, anxiety, fear and so on.
Kendra and I both relate to being 9's on the enneagram and how through our businesses we've been able to heal and fulfill our unmet childhood needs - which for the both of us happens to be not being "seen."
What I love about this episode is it gives us a full well-rounded view of how our bodies are emotional, physical, mental systems and that understanding each part will help us function more fully as a whole and have more success. We can't simply strive to understand pieces of the whole system, we need to understand how they all work together to make us who we are and I think this episode gives us a good baseline for starting to understand ourselves in the full picture.
I know you'll enjoy this interview if you love science and a little bit of the woo-woo because we get into both to better help you understand yourself!
Be sure to give us a shoutout on instagram I'm @PunchDrunkSoul and Kendra is @kendra_mft) and let us what you think of this interview!

Hi everyone! Welcome back to another episode of the Punch Drunk Soul Podcast! I'm your host Ali Daniel.
I'm joined by Amanda Silvas today! Amanda is a speaker, teacher and coach who helps women discover their greater purpose and cultivate deeper self-love and awareness through her in person events, workshops and online programs.
I wanted to bring Amanda on today because I think she has a really unique perspective on starting her coaching business. First, she helped her husband build his to 6-figures, operating behind the scenes. But she began to realize that by not creating her own meaningful work and impact, she wasn't fulfilling her OWN deeper purpose and calling.
So after months of hiding in fear, wondering what other people would think, que the "Who does she think she IS" thoughts, Amanda decided to start showing up and announce that she was starting her own coaching business. On this episode we talk about those insidious stories and critical self-talk that keep us from showing up. The ones that keep us playing small and hiding, preventing others from hearing our message.
We talk about how to find your purpose, how to understand your values and WHY they're so important to feeling fulfilled in your life. We talk about the best thing you can do for yourself if you're feeling stagnant or stuck and how we both got out of our ruts by using this same exact strategy that her and I BOTH now teach!
We also dive into the 3 stages of life and how to understand what stage you're in and how to use it to work through the obstacles you face. Amanda shares how so many of us can get caught up in one stage by learning TOO much and not taking action but what you can ask yourself to flip the switch and get out of that mode.
I loved hearing Amanda's unique journey of how she got to this point in her coaching business and how she's been able to use her many years of knowledge and experience in personal growth and relationships to help other women find success in their own lives.
Amanda just radiates warmth and love and I appreciate all the nuggets of wisdom she had to share on this episode. If you have the opportunity to learn from her or attend one of her events, you should jump on the chance! Her Las Vegas JoyRide event is coming up on the 21st and 22nd and you can either attend LIVE or get a virtual ticket which is really cool!
Be sure to give us a shoutout on instagram I'm @PunchDrunkSoul and Amanda is @Iam_AmandaSilvas) and let us what you think of this interview!

Hi everyone! Welcome back to another episode of the Punch Drunk Soul Podcast! I'm your host Ali Daniel.
Today I'm bringing on Kimberly Kennedy, a mom of two, hairstylist by trade, and as of the last two years, business coach and strategist for hairstylists. I love this episode because Kimberly is such a great example of how there's a coach for just about EVERYONE!
If you want to help transform someone's life - usually the best place to start is in your own backyard, with the skills you already know and have acquired!
I've been following Kim's journey as a coach and online entrepreneur for the last two years - we actually started at just about the same time when we enrolled in a program together so it's cool to look back at how far we've both come since then when we felt like fish out of water at an event we attended together with a sea of experienced coaches and online entrepreneurs.
In this episode, Kim shares how she started her coaching business so she could spend more time at home with her kids and so her time wouldn't be so dictated by her hairstylist chair - which often means weekends.
She wanted to create a life where work fit INTO her life and not the other way around.
So she started small - with local meetups, teaching women what she knew about growing a hairstylist business. It was messy, it was completely unknown to her and she felt way out of her element. But she did it and has since been able to grow a successful online business out of it.
She shares how one of the biggest things that stopped her from getting started for some time was Imposter Syndrome and the fear of not being experienced enough.
She shares how there are SO many other more experienced hairstylists out there that she felt like "who am I to be teaching anyone and stepping into this educator role?"
We dive deep into how she overcame those fears in this episode, so I know you guys are going to love it because I hear SO many of you guys sharing with me that you don't feel qualified or experienced enough to coach.
Hopefully this episode inspires you to just start messy because action will breed clarity and confidence!
Definitely give us a shoutout on instagram I'm @PunchDrunkSoul and Morgan is @KimberlyMarieStylist) and let us what you think of this interview.
Let's dive into it.

Hi everyone! Welcome back to another episode of the Punch Drunk Soul Podcast! I'm your host Ali Daniel. Before we dive into today's episode, I want to explain my absence for the last few weeks! I didn't plan to pause the podcast episodes however...the last 2 weeks have just been absolutely nuts for me!! I had 40 women sign up for clarity sessions with me after my 4 Day Soul Aligned Biz challenge and I was booked back to back all day every day for pretty much 2 weeks to meet with these women. I ended up enrolling 22 of them into my accelerator program and another 6 in my self-study course!
The past two weeks have been an insane adventure in my business and now that things are finally settling down back to normal, I have a chance to reconnect here with you guys!
I am SO excited to lead these 22 women on the journey of their lives - this really is the beginning of their new lives and I can't wait to show them how to launch successful coaching businesses that align with their souls and transform the world, one person at a time. It's a beautiful process and I feel so incredibly honored and grateful to have this be my mission right now.
Ok, so let's dive into today's episode! This episode I am joined by a very special guest, one of my own coaches (yes, I do have multiple coaches!), and her name is Morgan Day Cecil.
Morgan is a feminine wholeness coach who helps women experience divine sexy energy in relationships, business and life so they can really find more pleasure, abundance and success in all aspects.
I'm a testament to this first hand! I started working with Morgan back in December of last year, 2019 as part of my deeper mission to feel more present in my life, experience more joy and pleasure, and deepen my relationship. It wasn't a typical business investment like I'm used to, it was one for my own personal growth.
At the same time, I knew that feeling more at home in my body, more present in the moment and experiencing more love and joy in my life could only lead to more business success too. A few short weeks after working with Morgan I actually signed my first $10K client which was a fun milestone for me!
As you guys may now know, my income for this year is already more than it was for ALL of last year and it's only February! So that's insane. It just really goes to show that when you increase your attunement with your feminine energy, it's a blessing for all aspects of your life, not just your relationship, which I'm happy to report, is also thriving for me.
I wanted to bring Morgan on because I just truly am in AWE with how comfortable she is being her fullest self. It's so incredibly refreshing and inspiring to see and I have learned so much from her about how to slow down and feel more pleasure. I am in love with how she shows up as her full authentic self as all her many various sides of herself.
I think ultimately, that's why we're all here, right? We want to have fun, we want to enjoy life, we want to experience freedom and fulfillment and love. We want to feel free to be ourselves! At the end of the day, that's what we think money, or relationships, or our own business will bring us.
The truth is, those things come from within, and on this episode, Morgan talks about how to tap into that. How to tap into ALL parts of you, welcome all of it, BE all of who you are. She gives us a few feminine archetypes to use as examples which really grounds it for me.
She also shares her 3 pillars for success in anything which I think are so key, especially her third one about Peak Experiences. Makes me want to launch a retreat for you guys this year!
I know you guys are going to love this episode because if you're anything like me it's going to raise your vibration simply by listening. Call me crazy, but you'll FEEL it if you listen, I promise.
Definitely give us a shoutout on instagram I'm @PunchDrunkSoul and Morgan is @MorganDayCecil (C E C I L) and let us what you think of this interview. Let us know if it raised your vibe as much as it did mine!
Let's dive into it.

Today I'm bringing on Wynter Comfort, the No BS Self-Care Coach for Moms who just weeks after launching her coaching business started working with 3 clients.
Wynter's story is for you if you've been feeling like you just want MORE meaning and freedom in your life but you've been feeling stuck and losing momentum after trying several things that just aren't working.
I love Wynter's story because when she came to me she felt like her life "wasn't enough." And she felt super guilty because she was a mom. But she knew she wanted more and had more to give but she just didn't know how to make progress.
In this episode we talk about the biggest shift that Wynter made to help her go from stuck in her business to landing 3 clients and feeling amazing working with them.
We also get into some mindset talk, including why writing DOWN your thoughts is one of the most powerful things you can do to take back control of them.
Wynter also shares her 2-part secret formula for having success and gaining momentum in your business. They're not to be taken lightly and I second these 2 pieces of advice myself!

These are issues Carly has near and dear to her heart because she's been working through them in the last few months - religiously! Like daily.
So if you're finding yourself thinking "I'm too young, not qualified, not good enough to coach," THIS episode is for you. We're going to dive into how Carly overcame her own mind in order to not only launch her coaching business, but run her own online challenge, go LIVE on Facebook like a boss, show up authentically on social media, and let go of the fears she had around being a coach.
This is a transformational podcast because I know many of you will relate to exactly what Carly has gone through.

And she said this journey to her new identity and life all started with my 4 Day Soul Aligned Biz Challenge - WHICH - if you don't know yet, starts on Monday! This Monday, February 10th! Today I have a special guest on the Punch Drunk Soul Podcast who's energy I just love, and you're going to love it to. She's a new coach who just graduated from my Path to Freedom Coach Accelerator program - Lindsey Badillo.
Lindsey is a love & relationship coach who helps women develop more intimacy and connection in their long term relationships and marriages. She recently started working with her first 2 clients this year and is absolutely loving it.
If you're curious about the program Lindsey recently graduated from, Path to Freedom, you can check it out at Punchdrunksoul.com/pathtofreedom.
I'm so excited to share her journey with you all because just like many of you - she actually started her coaching journey by listening to this VERY podcast! She found me through Instagram, then checked out my podcast, became hooked and at one point late last year, she set the intention of being a guest coach on the podcast with me!
I had no idea that was on her vision board until I actually asked if I could interview her. We both share how crazy it is when life moves so fast! We don't even realize how it's always working in our favor until BOOM, one day you have everything you always wanted.
I love Lindsey's story because I relate to it so much. She always felt a deep desire to learn about and help people, which is why she first started out as a psychology major in college, a degree I also considered. Then she switched to teaching - again to HELP people. But when she graduated and started teaching she realized it wasn't fulfilling her in the way she wanted. It didn't align with her heart, her soul, and her purpose in the world.
In this episode we dive into how she finally came to understand what it means to be in alignment, how she practices BEING in alignment and feeling good, what it's been like to start coaching her new clients, and how to overcome your fears.
We also dive into how she learned coaching was meant for her, how she gained the confidence to become a coach, what it was like to make a significant investment in herself, and she also shares her 4 part recipe for success - and her last ingredient is to just have fun! This is also one of my key ingredients for success!
I know you are going to love this podcast, especially if you are curious about coaching but you just don't think you're qualified or could really make it a reality. Literally just 3 months ago, Lindsey was just like you. Had never really considered coaching as a true career path, and yet here she is today, confident, coaching 2 new clients and absolutely loving her new found fulfillment.
We both agree that it's through listening to other people's stories about becoming coaches that helped us take the leap. So I hope Lindsey's episode inspires you to follow your heart and trust that if we can do it, so can you!
If you enjoy this episode I'd love for you to let us know by sharing it on your Instagram stories and tagging us! I'm @Punchdrunksoul and Lindsey is @IntimatelyLindsey.
Again, if you're interested in checking out the program Lindsey did with me, Path to Freedom Coach Academy, you can go to punchdrunksoul.com/pathtofreedom to get on the wait list! We'll be opening up enrollment for it in February so jump in now before this class gets sold out, like it did the last 2 times I opened it up for enrollment.
Also, I am running my Free 4 Day Soul Aligned Biz Challenge coming up on Feb 10th that really kicked off Lindsey's journey as a coach, which you'll hear about in this episode. Hi guys! We are back at it after a little Holiday Break! Welcome to the 2020 season of the Punch Drunk Soul podcast! I'm excited to bring you MORE amazing guest, more incredible, inspiring stories, and even more value to you guys this year in 2020.
My word for 2020 is joy. My goal this year is to feel more of it. To really experience more pleasure and joy and reap the benefits of everything I've accomplished in my business in the last 2 years. While many entrepreneurs mark their growth by increased revenue, this year I am going to mark my growth with how much joy I can feel WHILE growing my business at a sustainable rate and not burning out.
I'm excited to share my journey with you alongside the other amazing guests I'll be bringing on the podcast this year.
To kick us off, I brought on a good friend and client, Ami Martin. Ami took Path to Freedom in the spring of 2019 and it's been really fun to watch her continue her journey. Ami is a growth & relationship coach in both Seattle & Los Angeles who helps women go from anxious to confident AF in their dating lives.
I brought Ami on because she has a unique path in that once she realized what she wanted to do with her life - coach others - she gained the confidence to truly commit to it. She tells us in this episode she gave herself a commitment of 3 years which after year 1 turned into 10 years!
She has gone down the path of certification via Neuro Linguistic Programming so she's going to share some of the tricks and tools she's learned from that program as well as the lessons she's learned along the way in her journey.
Ami's story is one of hiding in fear for many years, taking the road of practicality and "safety" as many of us do in our 20's and often 30's and then she finally got the courage to start exploring. I love that she thinks of her journey as an experiment, not a destination. I know you're going to love her approach to life and building a business.
One of my FAVORITE parts of this episode is when Ami explains what coaching is to her and how coaches are like modern day "elders" who guide people along their journey's based on their own experience. You know how clans people used to sit around the fire and trade stories and learn about life, love, war, art, language and so many other things? Well, that's what group coaching calls are these days!
If you're a new coach who's feeling insecure about coaching or charging money for your services you're going to love this perspective Ami gives. It will open your eyes to the true value you're providing.
If you enjoy this episode I'd love for you to let us know by sharing it on your Instagram stories and tagging us! I'm @Punchdrunksoul and Ami is @AmiMartinLove (Ami with an I).
If you're interested in checking out the program Ami did with me, Path to Freedom Coach Academy, you can go to punchdrunksoul.com/pathtofreedom to get on the wait list! We'll be opening up enrollment for it in February so jump in now before this class gets sold out like the last 2 times I opened it up for enrollment.

In this episode of the Punch Drunk Soul podcast, I'm interviewing Julie Valbuena. I wanted to chat with Julie because she, like many other new coaches I know, had trouble getting into action at first and simply getting started. She tried to put all the pieces together herself for years, attending webinars, getting on email lists, downloading workbooks, reading books, but finally threw her hands up in the air and got on a clarity call with a coach that completely changed everything for her.
We don't call them Clarity Calls for no reason guys, they truly help get you clear on your goals, clear on what's stopping you from achieving them, and clear on a roadmap forward. If you're on a clarity call with a good coach, that coach will make sure you walk away crystal clear on how you want to move forward and what you're willing to do about your goals and problems, regardless of whether or not the two of you decide to work together.
On that note, I want to pause and offer a clarity session to a few lucky listeners today who are dreaming of starting or growing soul-aligned coaching businesses. To the women who book a call with me before the end of the year, I want to give away my 2-part meditation pack to help you overcome your fears and limiting beliefs and manifest the life, money and business of your dreams valued at $47. I'm also going to throw in my Millionaire Mindset hypnosis that I've created and been using on myself for the past few months to help me create $70,000 in the last 2 months alone. But back to this episode! Julie went through a divorce a few years back, similar to Shana on our last episode, and it totally transformed her life. She became a new woman and the women in her life took notice and started to come to her seeking help. That's when she realized she wanted to coach. She overcame something extremely tough and came out better for it and she wanted the opportunity to work with women to do the same.
The lesson we hear time and time again in these interviews is that you have to start before you're ready and you just need to be a few steps ahead of the people you want to help.
After making several big investments, Julie got majorrrr skin in the game and started showing up differently. That's when she says she began to land consistent clients through her Facebook group and email marketing and she's only been in business about a year now.
What I love about this episode is Julie is a REALLY new coach. But she's been playing big to learn how to make her business work quickly. She really shares honestly about what it's been like to invest in high-ticket coaches multiple times to get her where she wanted to be in her first year in business.
She also shares what it was like to be in trial and error on her own for a while and how it caused her to lose confidence and almost quit like many other coaches do who lose confidence early on in their business.
We dive into where she finds clients and how she has the confidence to sell to her potential clients on this episode and so much more!
I think one of the things her and I really connect on is that you HAVE to be confident in what you're selling. If you're confident, sales becomes infinitely easier.
I know you guys are going to enjoy this episode, so let's dive in!
