Wye is joined again this year by Josh Buchanan (@joshNFLDraft) who is the scouting industry preeminent small school expert. He just completed his third year as college recruiter for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. He has been providing the most accurate Small School Draft Bigboard since 2003.

Together they discuss some of the big names atop his board in Carson Wentz, Noah Spence and Miles Killebrew, look at a bunch of intriguing pass rushers in Javon Hargrave, Victor Ochi, James Cowser, Matt Judon and Myke Tavarres.

Josh also provides some unique insight on little known Australian Punter Lachlan Edwards out of Sam Houston State who will be attending the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.

After a two week break immediately following Super Bowl 50, The Woot and Wye Show is back! 

They kick off their 2016/17 NFL Season coverage by bringing back NFL Capologist Shane Richardson (@ShaneNFL) to look in depth at some of the most peculiar cap situations currently in the league ahead of free agency.  They examine the cap situations of the Buffalo Bills, the Oakland Raiders, the Denver Broncos, the Baltimore Ravens and the New Orlean Saints before making some predictions regarding some cap casualties (look out Mike Wallace, Ryan Clady & Arian Foster!).

They also recap the last two weeks of the NFL by celebrating the careers of Jared Allen, Heath Miller, Rashean Mathis and more.

 Woot and Wye journey, literally, from the King Street Brewhouse to the Radiohub Studios to recap a fantastic Super Bowl 50 that saw the Denver Broncos defeat the Carolina Panthers 24 - 10. In recapping the game they talk about Lady Gaga’s anthem, Coldplay’s halftime show, Von Miller’s eating Mike Remmers alive and the beautiful game plan constructed by Wade Phillips before examining the performance of the two quarterbacks; Peyton Manning and Cam Newton. Will Peyton ride off into the sunset with his second Lombardi trophy under his arm? Time will tell.

It is the week before the week before the Super Bowl and the boys recap the latest news in the NFL including new deals to Lane Johnson, Zach Ertz and Travis Kelce, Jesse Williams kicking cancer’s ass, concussions, the LA Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders(?) and Cam Newton’s statement early this week that has divided NFL fans. They then have some fun by talking about some of the light hearted topics of the week including Travis Kelce’s new dating show on E!, Russell Wilson’s romantic side (cringe) and Gronk’s party ship.

Matt Logue also joins the show (45:00) to discuss his report in the Sunday Telegraph about the possibility of the Pro Bowl being held down under.
