About Rumi:Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī, commonly known as Rumi, was a 13th-century Persian poet, Islamic scholar, theologian, and Sufi mystic. Born on September 30, 1207, in Balkh (now in modern-day Afghanistan), he eventually settled in Konya (in present-day Turkey). Rumi's poetry, written primarily in Persian, transcends cultural and religious boundaries, making him one of the most popular and enduring poets in history.
