For Us By Us With Something For Everyone! It is important for me to shine the light on young black business owners that are doing wonderful things to positively impact their community and culture. Today, our special guest is the Founder and Creator of Melanated Apparel. An urban apparel line that is unique, essential, diverse, and dope in every way.

CAN'T SAVE EVERYONE! Foster care and child welfare consists of thousands of youth, in every state, being cared for and provided for by "the system". Like everything that exists; you have the good and the bad. You have failures and successes. You have those who are harmed and those who benefit. My special guest, Christina Crispin, had a seesaw of a journey in the foster care system. She survived, she thrived, and she is paying it forward.

In loving to share aspects of my journey, i wanted to touch on another important and deep topic. That is religion. The journey that I have been on with religion and my spirituality, has been a rollercoaster ride to say the least. Too often as it pertains to religion, specifically the church, certain conversations aren't had. Yet, they should be. Certain things aren't addressed, but they should be. Today, along with my special guest Caroline Adams; we are having a very essential and transparent conversation about our spiritual identity and the journey we've been on....The good, the bad, the indifferent.

When we are pouring into the youth, we are investing in a great future! For a time, it was as if positive role models were scarce. Thea amount of people really making a difference in our community and with our youth, seemed to decrease. I get excited when I come across people doing amazing things for not just the youth, but community as a whole. My special guest Rolanda Hatcher-Gallop has been doing that for a long time and I have seen the effects of that first hand!

NOTHING LIKE A MOTHER'S LOVE! The amount of single mothers is always an overwhelming amount. The success, hard work, and accomplishments of many of them; although extraordinary, often times is over looked. I honor all single mother's positively affecting and caring for their child(ren). Today we're having a conversation with a wonderful women i've known since college. Whose journey and testimony as a single mother is amazing! Today's guest is Kimberly Person.

IT IS NOT ALWAYS FAIR BUT IT IS WHAT IT IS - When you mix in personal experiences, the views of society, different upbringings, etc; that can make for some very interesting point of views and ways of thinking. Today we discuss various double standards that exist in relationships. Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) are powerful. There is a history that is unprecedented and limitless in value. I am excited to continue the HBCU conversation with that of two amazing people who are apart of a different generation, a different era. The stories and history that they hadto give was so enlightening and intriguing for me. Today we have Veronica Wade (Tuskegee University), Jay Clark (Clarke Atlanta University), and Charles Frazier (Albany State).

Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) are powerful. They are deeply rooted in tradition, perseverance, endurance, rising above obstacles, high quality achievement, and self-assurance. They are not just a pertinent part of black history but American history and their current evolution is one to be admired. I am excited to talk about everything that is great about the HBCU experience with multiple special guests who all are the product of an HBUC(s). On this episode our special guests are: Jokera McNeil (Florida A&M University), Corine Lamont (Alabama A&M University), Brittany McMillon (Florida Memorial University), and Javon Johnakin (Florida A&M University).

WHERE WOULD I BE WITHOUT GOD? I have come so far spiritually. My journey has had a lot of bumps and hurdles along the way. It is a everyday process that takes me doing the necessary work to be where i want to be spritually...and be able to be sustainable in that. Today we have a very very special guest, Pastor Wesley Bruce. He is an amazing human being that I've known all my life. He has an amazing story, intriguing journey, and effective way of communicating the love and glory of God. ENJOY and BE BLESSED!
