The Quantum Cast

BACK FROM THE GREAT BEYOND - The Quantum Cast returns as Adam & Gene cover what is, essentially, a Quasar issue disguised as Avengers #311. Quasar and the Avengers Support Crew fight off an army of robots in order to save Avengers Island from being sunk! Will they succeed? Well, no. It says so right on the cover. Still, there's an interesting discussion to be had and Axel, the Podcasting Dog, stops by to make his opinion known.

Adam and Gene are back to review the first part of Quasar's first multi-issue story arc, but they are NOT ALONE! No, they managed to grab Sean Ross (of Secret Wars and Beyond & The Nerdy Dads) off the street ... we mean, and invited him along for the Journey Into Mystery! Well, part one, anyway.

Happy Wendell Wednesday! That's right, Gene & Adam are back and this time they're covering Quasar Issue #12! In this episode you will find Quasar getting the snot beat out of him, Quasar acting like a moody teenager, Quasar getting a sidekick, Quasar getting the snot beaten out of him AGAIN, and the introduction of a Rating System for the comics! Are the hosts too rusty to handle all that? Tune in and find out!

Join us for a deep dive in to the source material that the hit movie, “Avengers: Infinity War”, is based on. This will be a SPOILER FREE exploration of the Miniseries Comic Books: “Thanos Quest” where Thanos obtains the Infinity Gems; “Quasar” #26 when Thanos first arrives on Earth; and “The Infinity Gauntlet” 6 book series that some would say is the defining event in the Marvel Universe (616). Where did the gems come from, who is Thanos, what is his motivation??? As with any great literary adaptation the movie differs from the books.

No, you're not dreaming, there is actually a new episode of The Quantum Cast available for your listening pleasure. Not only that, but the guys have on a special guest! Thomas Stanley, from the NeoZAZ show The Negative One Podcast, was roped into was kind enough to join Gene & Adam as they look at Quasar #11, guest starring Excalibur! What did the guys think of the story? Has Thomas ever even heard of Quasar? Just how good is Agents of SHIELD anyway? All these questions, and more, will be answered!

This time out, Gene Hendricks & Adam Worth are joined by their good buddy, Sean Strain. Not only do they talk about Quasar #10, but also how the Kree are at a genetic dead end, Wendell's failing buisiness, The Inifinty Gems, and much more!

BTW, feel free to blame Gene for the 6 months between episodes, since it is all his fault.

Join Adam Worth & Gene Hendricks as they take a look at Quasar Issue #9, featuring ... Modam. Yeah, not an A-List villain, but we at least get set-up for some stuff coming down the pike. In addition, the guys talk about AIM's business model, Hot Female Mouth, Bugs Bunny, Have Gun Will Travel, and how horrible IDIC's current security system must be.

For those of you interested, you can find the Bugs Bunny cartoon referenced in the episode here: https://youtu.be/aXeyuFn3lfc

Your old buddies Gene and Adam are back to talk about Quasar! This time, our favorite cosmic hero has to go back to his old job at Project Pegasus to take care of yet another threat brought back from The Beyonder's Battle World. That's right, this is a Secret Wars Tie-In Issue! Because everyone was looking for that in 1990, weren't they?

After a long delay (which is 100% Gene's fault), the crew of The Quantum Cast are back! This time out, Gene & Jif take on Quasar Issue #7, or The Case of the Teabagging Terminus. Listen while your hosts go on and on about Avengers: Age of Ultron (we told you it was delayed)! Thrill to the discussion of superhero economics! Chill at Spider-Man wielding the Uni-Power! All this, and more, on your favorite podcast about The Protector of the Universe!

Paul Spataro, Bill Robinson, Scott Gardner, Alan Middleton, Chris Tyler, Luke Jaconetti and Gene Hendricks spend a few minutes with you sharing there thoughts about the loss of a great person. We've lost Shawn Engel, who has been a good friend to all of us.
