About Sarah: In a past life however, Sarah Karger was an eCommerce director for a men’s accessory retailer, overseeing all aspects of our team's marketing efforts for the .com direct-to-consumer website, as well as the marketing for the wholesale side of the business. Running the marketing department during the formative years of her career, she oversaw everything from media relations to pay-per-click advertising to graphic design, email marketing... and you guessed it, affiliate marketing!
Today, Karger is full-time publicist and partner at Comm Oddities, Inc. a remote boutique public relations house based in Denver, Colorado. On the side, Karger is extremely passionate about helping educate and consult with brands and publicists about affiliate marketing and the significant role it plays in earned media. With one successful course out and due to popular demand for a second, Karger is launching a new course on how to get started managing performance based (aka affiliate focused) PR campaigns as part of your PR strategy.
In her free time, Karger is also a hobby farmer, regeneratively raising cows, chickens, pigs and bees.
