MISSION: We exist to revive, restore and resource ministry leaders and their families, enabling them to pursue health and excellence in their call to ministry.
WHO WE SERVE: ServingLeaders offers care, resources and counseling to vocational and lay ministry leaders. We strategically come alongside those who serve the Body of Christ.
[5:10] More churches are open to unity efforts now. However, the outward mission focus has dwindled in the past few years.
[7:00] Our Pulpits Are Full of Empty Pastors (Christianity Today)
[8:40] “People in churches wound their pastors when there are high demands and expectations for the pastor to be and do everything. An unspoken theology in some churches is God never sleeps and neither should my pastor.”
[11:11] “When Pastors try to compensate for their insecurities in leadership, we get into performance-based rather than presence-based ministry, which is a danger to ourselves and others.”
[14:08] The saving grace in comparison with others, is the truth that God called you to be you and not another. Love is not envious.
[15:38] Gospel 101 - greatest miracle that ever happened: God forgave us.
[17:45] Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32)
[18:32] Marks of Toxic Leadership

A rebuke goes deeper into a man of understanding than a hundred blows into a fool. (Proverbs 17:10)
More value in your staff's productivity than their spiritual/character formation
An over-involvement in controlling other people’s decision or direction
Tendency to shade the truth about yourself, your weaknesses, your struggles
Very few close intimate relationships; a superficial image of vulnerability[24:40] Towards Healthy Leadership
Consistent intimacy with Christ in silence/solitude
Every pastor/leader should be in a counseling, coaching, or mentoring relationship
