Psychological horror/thriller about a well known author finishing her book tour until some dusty ass clear folks who are messed up (Jena Malone n crew) kidnaps Veronica and places her and other black people on a plantation called Antebellum. It has a "twist" too. This is not a slavery movie, SJW or whatever simple storytelling of how people will do anything to silent another.

Wes Craven's Wishmaster is about a science chick dealing with science stuff when some drunkie on the job drops a priceless Babylonian statue containing a jinn in a stone. Stuck in the Treasure Troll gem, the jinn is released in an accidental experiment. This almost masterpiece of horror was one of my mother's favorite horror movies that she can watch and love. The gore is chef's kiss and starring horror vets from Tony Todd to Kane Hodder. I had a glass 🍷 too.

The last of our Bruce Campbell month of movies. This movie is dumb as hell and boring. Lame f*ckin stuff bro. Some dufus kidnaps Bruce Campbell to stop some god-like protector guarding the souls of late Chinese immigrants who worked the mines after a tragic accident. Seriously that town is non-MF factor, Guan-di should have slaughtered them, they wouldn't be missed.

T.B.C baby! In this hidden gem horror/comedy. Set in an East Texas rest home, Sebastian/Elvis and nursing home resident John F Kennedy find themselves in a pickle with an ancient Egyptian mummy with the cowboy boots, eating booty and sucking souls out of the elderly. Bruce Campbell and the late Ossie Davis stars to save Shady Rest Home in this campy movie. The laughs are solid, the chemistry is perfect between these great actors. Who would have thought the "presume dead" King of Rock n Roll and Camelot's legacy of Kennedy would fight the dead?
