For only the 2nd time on the Random Wrestling Review, we are taking in a TNA show and travelling back almost 20 years to Turning Point 2004- the scene of the 'Macho Man' Randy Savage's final ever match where he teamed with AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy against The Kings of Wrestling- Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Jeff Jarrett. Also on the show, America's Most Wanted battled Triple X in a Six Sides of Steel cage match where the losing team would have to disband, and Petey Williams defended the X Division Title against Chris Sabin.

It's that time of the year again where we honour the great matches that the podcast have covered in the past- there are 3 new matches that have made the Hall of Fame this year- they each were voted for by at least 50% of our 16-strong panel in this year's ballot from a potential shortlist of 85 matches.

Taking place in the shadow of the infamous Montreal Screw Job at WWF's Survivor Series event, World War 3 (1997) finds World Championship Wrestling at a commercial peak, and on the finishing straight on the road to that year's Starrcade. The event would play host to the 60-Man Battle Royal main event with the winner receiving a World Title shot at some point in the future. It also featured a no-holds barred encounter between rivals Ric Flair and Curt Hennig, Rey Mysterio Jr up against Eddie Guerrero in a rematch of their classic at Halloween Havoc the month before, and a WCW Tag Title Match pitting The Steiner Brothers against Steven Regal and Dave Taylor.

At last it is time for the Final of The Game Round Robin as Stephen and Alex go into battle in what amounts to a straight play off where the winner will take the title overall. It's time to rumble, it's time for the Royal Rumble! Yes- for the first time in 2 and a half years the Royal Rumble returns to The Random Wrestling Review as we take in the 1993 edition of the show. Entering the year, Bret Hart had not long won his first WWE Title and was lined up to face Razor Ramon in defence of the title at this show. Also, Marty Jannetty challenged Shawn Michaels for the Intercontinental Title to reignite their feud which had already been stalled for a year following Jannetty's misdemeanours behind the scenes, and let's not forget about the Rumble match itself, where the first time the winner would go on to face the Champion at Wrestlemania!

This week on The Random Wrestling Review we journey all the way back to 1988 for the very first SummerSlam event, a night the Mega Powers and Mega Bucks faced each other in tag team action with special referee Jesse 'The Body' Ventura presiding over affairs in what would prove the conclusion of the feud between Hogan and Andre, as well as the beginning of the cracks beginning to appear in the Mega Powers. Also on the show, Intercontinental Champion, Honky Tonk Man's scheduled opponent Brutus 'The Barber' Beefcake was out of action after an attack at the hands of Ron Bass, but WWE had lined up a special surprise substitute to challenge for the IC Title...

BracketMania is back for its 4th instalment and this time we're looking at the greatest Attitude Era midcarders and asking the question- which is the best? We have defined Attitude Era midcarders as anybody who hadn't won a World Title by January 2002 and, with that in mind, our panel have picked their 16 participants to be included in the tournament who will face the lottery of the brackets and the scrutiny of our hosts.

Pushing even further back into history this week on The Random Wrestling Review, we take on WWE's stadium show in Toronto in the Summer of 1986, as the company brought 'The Big Event' to Canada. The show was headlined by Hulk Hogan's defence of the WWE Title against long time rival 'Mr Wonderful' Paul Orndorff and also includes Jake 'The Snake' Roberts versus Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat in a Snake Pit Match as well as Harley Race clashing with Pedro Morales in a potential 'dream match'.
