Today I'll be talking with Joshua Fluke. Josh's name was brought to my attention after I'd done the Case Study of Pat from Tech Lead and his marriage situation and subsequent divorce. I had a ton of requests to dissect Josh's marriage/divorce and was linked the video he did on the details. But rather than play third party observer to this I reached out to Josh instead. I had a lot of other questions during his video and I didn't think it would be fair to presume things I didn't know about.

So today we'll have a frank discussion about what made him think marriage was a good idea for him, how his relationship devolved and what he's learned from the experience. During this time many of his own viewers suggested my books to him and he's familiar with the concepts.

Nice Guys finish last. One of the oldest adages in our 'sphere' is the quandary of the 'Nice Guy'. Ask a woman what she's looking for in a man and inevitably you'll get some variation of "I just want a Nice guy." When women get to the Epiphany Phase this wonderment of "Where are all the Nice Guys?" is a hallmark of women's mentality at that stage.

But the truth about 'being nice' is very different. Women claim to want a Nice guy – dependable, loyal, funny, interesting, loving, kind, vulnerable, and available – but then opt for men who are decidedly 'not nice' when they connect with men. As social media made comparing notes about women's nature more apparent this Myth of the Nice Guy was the first fallacy to fall.

This part of dispelling the Blue Pill is one of the hardest things for a former Nice Guy to accept. The nicer a guy is, the less she respects him.

In this show Pat and I will explore:

• Why do women claim to want a Nice Guy, but always opt for the Bad Boy?

• How is this Nice Guy / Bad Boy paradox part of women's innate mating strategy?

• Why women gravitate towards jerks?

• Why would women rather "Cry over a Jerk than be bored with a Nice guy"?
