Divorced After 50

Divorce can be one of the most can be one of the most traumatic experiences a man can experience in his life. Beyond the financial and familial considerations is the daunting task of reassessing yourself and then reentering a strange new sexual marketplace in the 21st century. Never Self-Deprecate under any circumstance. This is a Kiss of Death that you initiate and is the antithesis of the Prize Mentality. Once you’ve accepted yourself and presented yourself as a “complete douche” there’s no going back to confidence with a woman. Never appeal to a woman’s sympathies. Her sympathies are given by her own volition, never when they are begged for – women despise the obligation of sympathy. Nothing kills arousal like pity. Even if you don’t seriously consider yourself pathetic, it never serves your best interest to paint yourself as pathetic. Self-Depreciation is a misguided tool for the Beta, and not something that would even occur to an Alpha.

Why do so many men default to self-deprecation with women?

Apologizing for oneself is a hallmark of a Beta mindset, but why does this impulse come so naturally? The easy answer is that it's simply a manifestation of that mindset, but how does a Beta make it his reflexive response?

Why do men believe in 'luck with respect to women?

Why do so many men tear themselves down in order to build their woman up? What affect does this have on his wife/girlfriend when a man does this?

EPISODE 19 – Can You Trust Women?

I wanted to title this show "Crossing the Abyss", but one of the toughest issues a Red Pill aware man (particularly a newly unplugged man) tends to struggle with is the idea of 'trusting women' once his eyes are opened to what actually motivates women. This is a primary stumbling block for guys who are already predisposed to just throwing their hands up in disgust with women once they accept female nature.

"I'll never be any woman's ideal, except maybe for low SMV women I don't want to bang anyway, so screw it! You can't trust women to do anything but be women, I'm out!"

This is the defeatist mentality a lot of frustrated guys adopt, and probably with good reason. But the Red Pill doesn't exist so men will hate women, it exists so men won't hate women for what they can never be to him.

So how does a man ever 'trust' a woman? Is Hypergamy a death sentence for 80% of men? How does complementarity play into all this?

As an addendum to this topic Pat and I will also be discussing the Blue Pill ideals men believe before they come to accept the truths of intersexual dynamics. Killing the Beta and abandoning your old Blue Pill conditioning is a lot like mourning the death of an old friend. We'll discuss that process today.

EPISODE 18 – The Desire Dynamic

"You cannot negotiate genuine desire."

If there is one phrase The Rational Male best known for it's this. So much centers on engendering a genuine desire in a woman. All Game technique and theory centers on this fact; genuine desire is the key to healthy relationships and enthusiastic, validational sex.

Yet in our feminine-primary social order this simple concept escapes most men and women alike. The majority of men (Betas) are conditioned by the Blue Pill to see sex as an exchange of value (transactional) or a series of contrived performances to qualify for a woman's desire. Feminist/Village taught women play into this with failed notions of 'open communication' being the key to happiness – if only men would listen and cooperate.

What develops is a contrived series of negotiations between women and men to get to the 'sex part'. Negotiated desire only ever leads to an obligated compliance and/or resentment. EPISODE 16 – The Medium is the Message

I hate the term ‘Mixed Signals’ or ‘Mixed Messages’. “I dunno man, she sending me mixed messages” is a common refrain among many a Blue Pill man.

More often than not there’s nothing ‘Mixed’ being communicated, rather it’s a failure (willful or not) to read what a woman is communicating to a man. The average guy tends to ‘get’ exactly what a woman has implied with her words, but it takes practice to read her behavior and then more practice in self-control to apply it to his own interpretation.

When a woman goes from hot to cold and back again, This IS the message — she’s got buyers remorse, you’re not her first priority, she’s deliberating between you and what she perceives is a better Hypergamous prospect, you were better looking when she was drunk, etc. — the message isn’t the ‘what ifs’, the message IS her own hesitation and how her behavior manifests it. 10 dates before sex? This IS the message. Canceling dates? Flaking? strong interest to weak interest? This IS the message.

Why do a majority of men think that women expect them to be 'mindreaders'? What is the main obstacle for men to get past in order to understand the behavioral communications of women? Is it too much to ask for women to say what they mean and mean what they say?

EPISODE 15 – The Epiphany Phase

The Epiphany Phase is a time in a woman's life where she's forced to confront the realities of her condition as a woman in the sexual marketplace. It is a time of her life when she must make the transition from her Party Years into a woman concerned with her long term security. That security can take many forms – financial, emotional, familial, etc. – and it's usually during this time in which she must reprioritize the prerequisites she has for men who are acceptable to her approving intimacy with him.

Usually this phase occurs in women between the ages of 29-31 years old. This is the time a woman must confront the true decline of her sexual market value (SMV). A lot of men believe this phase coincides with the ubiquitous 'Wall' a woman hits as she can no longer compete with her younger sisters for 'acceptable' men.

The clock is running out and her Id battles with her Ego while she tries to balance her needs for Alpha sex and excitement with the unignorable fact that she needs to 'settle' on a less exciting but more dependable Beta male for providership and long term security.

It's at this point that a woman's hindbrain must create new rationales for the life she used to lead in her Party Years, and the life she must lead in the future if she's to start a family and find some semblance of security. How does a woman's sexual strategy (Hypergamy) change during this phase?

Iron Rule of Tomassi #3

Any woman who makes you wait for sex, or by her actions implies she is making you wait for sex; the sex is NEVER worth the wait.

When a woman makes you wait for sex you are not her highest priority. Sexuality is spontaneous chemical reaction between two parties, not a process of negotiation. It’s sex first, then relationship, not the other way around. A woman who wants to bang you will find a way to bang you.

This Iron Rule is based on a fundamental Red Pill tenet – attraction (arousal) is not a choice. Contrary to the insistence that sex is a product of comfort the truth is this; sexuality is a 'spontaneous' chemical reaction based on urgency, anxiety and what's largely called sexual tension.

We know it when we feel it. We know it when we see it. Our innate mental firmware instinctually recognizes the behavioral cues when a woman is aroused (attracted) by us. The PUA set called these cues IOIs or Indicators of Interest. One of the basic fundamentals was learning how to go with those instincts instead of "stepping on our own dicks" as Rian Stone would say.

In this episode Pat and Rollo explore the reasons why men often self-defeat in situations where the 'vibe was on', but their understanding of what to do about it was off. Why do men, often subconsciously, miss these cues or fail to capitalize on them? Negotiating genuine desire is impossible, but what can a man do to inspire it?

Bonus: Why do men tend to over-emphasize or over-interpret women's true interest level in them?
