Shonna Chiles has lived many lives in one lifetime. From NBA dancer to founder of Confidance Fitness, certified in yoga and reiki, currently a crystal energy specialist and owner of Cosmic Flora Crystal Co., she is a prime example of how you can evolve into a higher expression of yourself.
She begins taking us on her personal journey as a NBA dancer offering valuable insights on how she navigated the challenges of being in that environment. One of the challenges was preserving her personal identity while breaking out of the conditioning she received. "One of the greatest gifts as an adult is the ability to re-parent ourselves and to see past the conditioning we experience through life," she says.
Choosing to align her inner calling to her career path allowed her to not only to evolve beyond her NBA career, it but also provided her the opportunity to form Confidance. Her dance community simultaneously develops your dance skills, embraces and taps into your full badass-ness, while tuning into mental and energy wellness, transforming women all over the world.
As she started to take her self exploration further, she was then led into the world of metaphysics and crystal energy. She provides us with an easy explanation on crystals and its benefits. Shonna further explains how the power of energetic connections to crystals helped catapult her to shift careers and refers using them as "Totems of Intention." Today, she helps women understand how they can tap into their own energy and the energy of crystals. "People might think I'm crazy but you can't care what people think because what they think will take you away from your personal journey. "
There are so many juicy nuggets in this episode that we can use to apply to our own personal evolution!! Maybe You were meant to listen and stumble upon this podcast! Cheers to your soul evolution!

Native South African Nutritionist, blood analyst, owner of Plenertude, creator of Plenertude Voice Podcast, Welmar Piernaar diagnosed his mother at the age of 15 after she spent a massive amount of money on medicine their family could not afford. "It was either food on the table or medicine, " says Welmar. After years of money spent and declined health, he took it upon himself to study holistic approaches and wrote her a prescription on a small piece of paper at 15 years old. Witnessing the rapid recovery of his mother inspired him into the world of nutrition and today he shares his wealth of knowledge with those around the world. In this episode, he gives an easy explanation on the importance of caring for our 2nd Brain, the gut which often gets neglected and isn't addressed as often as it should. Our gut fuels our instincts, our mind, our mood and the rest of our body. He addresses 2 types of bacteria which and simplifies by labeling them, "Good Wolf" and the "Bad Wolf". "Which ever you feed, leads," he explains. Understanding and nourishing your GUT/2nd Brain will lead to science based happiness and a healthy extended life. "Why wait until something is wrong to self care?" proclaims Welmar. In love, we self care. In love, we educate ourselves to live the most resilient lives. I've learned so much from Welmar and I wanted to share him with the world of beauty. Enjoy!!!
