An in depth review of The-Dream’s new project “Ménage a Trois.” The Radiokilla put together a 40-Track menu for all of his fans that will keep them swimming in bedroom tracks for some time. That’s what this is, Mr. Nash has provided the masses with a soundtrack for the bedroom and there is nothing wrong with that. It was refreshing to hear his voice again and see him doing his thing like he used to, not trying to change for these times. There was no way I would be able to give you guys 40 songs worth of reviews but what I was able to do is choose the strongest 10 songs (in my opinion) and break them down in a way that only I can. For the last podcast of the year I took on quite the task. Not a review but just a pod to appreciate Male R&B Groups. It wasn’t easy but I feel like I delivered. An in depth review of Trey Songz’ new project “11.” Trigga is back and doing what he does best. This album was coupled with “28,” a more Hip-Hop centric album, but receiving 20 tracks from Trey was good to have for the holidays. It was business as usual on this album sexy lyrics, quality production and Trey mixing his vocals keeping us all on our toes. An in depth review of Victor Oladipo’s 2nd studio album “V.O.” Yes you read that right!! If you didn’t know NBA All-Star Victor Oladipo is also an R&B singer and if that surprises you, finding out that this is his second album will leave you on the floor. Victor has the voice, confidence and presence to be an R&B staple but we all realize he has a much more important job he needs to focus on so providing us with some heat every once in a while is just fine for me. A quick (well not as quick as I thought it would be) review of Nao’s second full length album “Saturn.” After a long week, I didn’t know if I had it in me to complete a pod this week but you know what, your boy powered through and with a little help from @meggsnhines Request, I buckled down and was able to provide you all with some heat for the weekend. With a voice like no other artist I’ve heard before, Nao provides a solid 13 track album that covers the gambit of sounds and concepts. Able to carry a song on her own and share the mic for duets, she showcased that her voice may be meek but it’s powerful as well. An in depth review of Jeremih and Ty $’s collaboration album “Mih-Ty.” I bit the bullet this week for you guys. My love of Ty $’s music led me to this album but I had to endure listening to Jeremih at the same time so it was a tough week LOL. These two came together to make a decent album to hold their fans over until solo albums from either of them are released. There were quality samples, catchy choruses and ok lyrics, but it was entertaining nonetheless. An in depth review of H.E.R.’s extension to her earlier work “I Used To Know Her: Part 2.” This was a quick one!! WITH A LITTLE MORE FEELING!!! This time around H.E.R. Dug down deep and pulled up all of her inner feelings on the EP. A lot slower than the previous rendition and acoustic instrumentals for days, she found a way to make me think of past relationships, how I feel about myself and why things happen the way they do in life. An in depth review of Raheem Devaughn’s new Album "Decade of a Love King.” Well guys I bared my soul on this one. With his 6th album, Radio Raheem continued to dominate the babymaking music game. Album after album he steps his game up and provides us all with a soundtrack for the bedroom. Over the past few months there have been multiple mentions of his music on this podcast because he is one of my favorite artists and I’m happy that, now that his new album is on the streets, I can express to you all why he is my go to for all music about Love. An in depth review of Usher’s new Trap&B album with Zaytoven "A" and Khalid’s new EP “SunCity.” Did a double feature this week since there were two relatively short albums that I wanted to review. Usher is back on the scene and giving Trap Music his own R&B spin as only he can do. He enlists the help of a few rappers to help the album along one of which being Future. See how I feel about the 8-Track effort. Khalid in his most emotional state provides us with an EP that left me all the way in my feelings. This guys voice and lyrics always puts me in a place where I ponder the meaning of life. See if this EP left me in the same state of mind.
