Amber White is a North Carolina native who has called Asheville home for nearly a decade. After graduating from UNC Asheville with her B.A in Literature, Amber pursued a career in marketing, technical writing, and graphic design. Her career took her from teaching at AB Tech, to a tech firm in Washington D.C., and then back to WNC with Chimney Rock State Park. But being the daughter of home flippers, Real Estate was an inevitable calling.
After earning her license in January 2018, Amber took off with a small, local firm that gave her a great head start. She then moved to a larger firm to grow her business further as the co-owner of a small team. Despite her success there, Amber knew she wanted to leverage her Real Estate career into a role with a firm. After a few recruiting meetings with Terri King, Owner & President of Coldwell Banker King, she knew where she was headed next- to a global brand-backed firm, run by local women with a passion for sustainable, community-focused growth, & agent success. When the opportunity to interview for the VP of Talent Recruitment & Growth Development, she took it.
Just a few months into her new role, Amber has created an entirely new recruiting program, backed by the strong community & agent-focused philosophy set by Terri King, and is working on implementing several new strategies and best practices centered on sustainable growth & visibility. Her favorite part of the job, though, is meeting local agents and getting to know them because, for her, building relationships is what it's all about.
